I’ll start w the positive. Friendly staff. Burger, fries, onion rings, mozzarella sticks, & tabouli were good. The negative, I don’t see how deli is in the name. The bun is split. The meat is cut all funky. So it wasnt freshly sliced. Cheese not evenly distributed. I had to reconstruct the Pompeii just to eat it & everything just kept falling because they put in on a hoagie bun which is different from the few pictures I saw on Google. They put veggies in a bag. I understand if it’s a hot sub. The Pompeii isn’t. The tomato didn’t taste fresh. Their Italian dressing didn’t have enough seasoning in it for me so I used my own.

I was in the mood for a gyro and Nikos was closed on Tuesday.
So glad we found Old World Deli! I’ll still say that Nikos makes a fine gyro but this place is much better!
I got the regular gyro and hummus.
For the size and price, I was impressed with the amount of meat. I could have used a pinch more tzatziki but that’s the only thing I would change. I can’t imagine how big that large is. Maybe I’ll work my way up to it one day.
Next the hummus. Again, the portion was solid and very shareable. The warm fluffy pita was also delicious. I really enjoy Aladdin’s hummus and I would put theirs next to Aladdin’s any day. All very good!
Looking forward to returning and trying some different options.

Ahh made it back here from when I used to work next door and I already knew the Gyro’s were good but today I had the Chili, WOW 5 out of 5 and I make my own chili that is really good. It’s hardy, just excellent flavor and the right amount of spice. The owners are fabulous people, just good folks. You want to support that. Got a chili for the road and am thankful. Pay the buck and add the cheese!!!

Great food. Great service. So many choices for any appetite big or small. Catering is the best and the lebanese options are out of this world. You are an example of a 5 star restaurant. You won’t leave with a empty stomach or a unhappy memory . This place is the best and worth your appetite. Your stomach will appreciate it.

Been going here for over 15 years. Really good gyros. They have a plethora of options to choose from.
You can get your gyro meat gridled as well to make it a little crispy. They are a loved part of Brunswick.
My only true wish? That they would have tater tots as a side option.

For my 60th Birthday party, my wife had Old World Deli cater the party. She said Andy was very helpful with all of her catering questions. She ordered the Chicken Marsalla with Buttered Noodles (Andy’s suggestion) which came with a wonderful salad, rolls, butter, salad dressings, plates, bowls and plastic ware. She also ordered the 100 piece Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions in a spicy marinara sauce along with a medium vegetable tray with dip which was super fresh. She had the warming trays all set up and ready to go. Andy delivered all of the food and set it all up. There were very few leftovers as everyone enjoyed the food. Everyone said how delicious everything was. We highly recommend giving Old World Deli a try. Call Andy and you will not regret your decision.

Been here twice. I tried to like it. Fries were just average—no salt, no real taste. The burger was okay. Definitely a place to go for value for your money. If you’re looking for flavor, it’s just not there.

Where do I start… From the moment we walked in and we’re greeted with a friendly hello I knew this was going to be a great new favorite spot, and that my friends is a definite understatement!
Old World Deli What????!!!!! Everything we had was so good and so fresh!
The owners Andy and Rania Zarzour have been in business at this location for the past 25 years and previously at Parmatown mall for 15 years when it was owned by Andy’s parents.
Spinach pies… WOW so fresh and absolutely delicious! They can add feta for you for a small upcharge. Soooooo good!
The hummus served with pita and the tabouli were equally delicious and so fresh!
My son went absolutely nuts for the falafel and the meatless stuffed grape leaves! Believe me he will tell you if they don’t taste good and he Loves everything he ate today!!!
We also enjoyed the sweet potato fries, breaded mushrooms and the yummy sauerkraut balls.
My husband had a Texas turkey panini which was filled with turkey, sliced onions, and tomato and cheese with a chipotle mayo so good!
Seating is limited so get there early.
You guys this is a definite must!!!
Next time I will try the gyro or corned beef that I heard everyone sitting around us raving about.
Absolutely amazing food!
I especially liked that both Andy and Rania came out to talk to their customers when they had a brief reprieve from all their hard work. Well done, very well done indeed!
