We ate there last night. The food tasted great. Atmosphere was warm and comfortable. Our waitress was incredibly kind, attentive, and good at job. My only constructive criticism would be to have small cups of mayo available when asked for vs packets. Packets are fine for Mcdonalds, not fine dining. But take that as a positive that that’s the only criticism I can give.

Decided to go somewhere different tonight, and we ended up at Old Towne Inn. The service was better than other restaurants we’ve recently visited in the area. Salad bar was one of the better salad bars I’ve seen for a while. I ordered the Chicken Alfredo, and it was good. I definitely will be back to try their New York Strip.

Excellent prime rib and fish. Greta hospitality from a hometown supper club. Prime rib was on point as was the deep fried cod! Plus there radio ad jingle is a timeless masterpiece!

Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Wasn’t sure what to expect but I was delightfully surprised. Food was cooked to perfection, and the atmosphere was so inviting. Had my first ever Old-Fashioned…I now have a new beverage favorite! Will definitely go back! I’m sad that I forgot to take pictures…I dove into the food too quickly. LOL

I’ve been coming to Old Towne for probably the last 20-30 years, and since the previous owners sold, it has been as good, or possibly better, than it ever was. One difference that I miss is the garlic toast with the cheese spread and whipped dessert in the salad buffet.
I don’t want to give my secret out, and now it’s not quite as secret, but… the ribs, when they’re good, they’re like a 9.5/10 even when they’re not amazing they’re still about an 8/10
They increased a bit in price in the last year or two, but I can’t stop coming back.
I’m pretty sure they’re open on Sundays now, just waiting now to call an order of ribs to-go in. (P.s. if you’re just getting the ribs to-go it’s an awesome price again ~$26)
I just rated the atmosphere a 4/5 cause it’s nice, but nothing crazy. The views out over the highway can be a nice painted sky for dinner.
We gave them super short notice (24 hr) for a holiday party and that night they were also doing karaoke in the bar side so that actually turned out being A LOT of fun. Not advocating to give super short notice, just letting you know.
Blane even sold me a gallon of their house made bbq sauce so I could try to recreate them for my family Christmas this year.
We’re having a get together at my house in a few weeks and I will absolutely be getting about 5 racks to go.
Also, what a great opportunity for employment around Westby.

We dined at Old Towne Inn on a weekday afternoon. I recently read a description of this restaurant from a book titled Wisconsin Supper Clubs. I ordered the half rack ribs, my wife ordered scallops. Both meals were perfectly done and exceeded expectations. The fried cheese curd appetizers were outstanding, and the old fashions were classic.
The staff is friendly and accomodating. We will definitely return on our next trip to Wisconsin’s Driftless Area.

Our server Ben was charming and attentive. Everything was perfect, from start (cheese curds) to finish (Brandy Alexander)… did I mention the blackberry brandy old fashioned and the hickory smoked pork chop? *chefskiss*

Banquet style seating with good food. Prices are a bit high but the portions are large. Fried mushrooms were amazing.

The food was absolutely phenomenal! The honey-glazed chicken is truly to die for—it’s a must-try! Every dish was spectacular in its own right, making the entire experience unforgettable.
