This famous little bar, located in Old Town Scottsdale and nestled right on the path leading to the Scottsdale Civic Center Park, is a gem for everyone who loves good times, live music and amazing cocktails. At the Old Town Tavern, every hour is Happy Hour. That’s because there’s always a drink special happening and we don’t over-price our beers and spirits. We’re also famous for not watering down our drinks; using the right ratio of alcohol and mixology. We’re known for having the best mixed cocktails in Scottsdale and we’re proud of that. Our live music venue has become a staple of our tavern and people love it. They call us the “biggest little stage in Old Town Scottsdale”. It’s like a mini music festival that never ends.

We stopped in here Wednesday night after dinner. They have a great location at the end of Main street overlooking a park/mall area. They are a tiny place with lots of outdoor seating and window’s that open the inside to the out. They have a great beer and drink variety including some local selections. The service (al la Joseph) was super friendly as well! The main reason we stopped in was for the live music…which did not disappoint! The talented singer/acoustic guitar act that night tackled a large variety of songs and genres. Since it was Prince’s Birthday he even played a handful of Prince songs as well….really fun! We enjoyed our time so much we returned the following (thurs) night with friends. Thursday was much busier but just as entertaining and enjoyable. We will definitely visit again when in town. Rude patrons. Rude bartender . Bad drinks! Upon entering was made to feel unwelcome by a regular patron asking if “I was from Iowa” then when I said I was not , he said I guess I lost a bet. Didn’t stoop to his level and ignored his drunk ness but was he encouraged by the rough bartender. Won’t go back. Wouldn’t recommend the place. Drinks were weak and poorly made .

What a great little place in Old Town Scottsdale, nice outside seating area with a great view of 1st Street. My dog hours everywhere with me and was welcomed by Jenny and the staff. Only canned beer but good selection of local brews. Heard the weekends are super busy so I’ll go during week. Good times!

One of our favorites any day of the week. Love the outdoor area. The owner is one of the best in the area. He is always out chatting with people. Service is always great even when they are busy. Definitely makes you feel at home. Great selection of cocktails and beers. A must stop when you visit Old Town. Atmosphere is so nice you will enjoy yourself for sure.

Went during Super Bowl week, so the place was packed. The bar is fairly small but has a generous amount of patio seating. The prices were inflated due to the Super Bowl (I hope), but the bartenders were quick and efficient. They also had Clamato, which is a big plus.

Don’t be surprised if you come in solo and some woman hussles you for a drink and makes a scene if you don’t buy her drink. Also don’t be surprised if bartender sides with scumbag hussler. Not good but it happenes here. This is a great place and atmosphere however bartenders need to be wise about siding with husslers it will negatively hurt business.
