Idk what has happened to this place, menu board is gone, staff aren’t friendly. Cook is horrible. Waited 15 mins for two burgers that were burnt and bun hard as a rock, only decent thing that was edible was the fries. Use to be a great place but no need to put bun on the grill and make it crunchy. I was tapping on it and it was like I was tapping a rock. Wife’s burger didn’t have nothing on it but cheese. So they forgot all the confiments. I didn’t complain just took the loss of $20 and won’t be back. Guess I’ll start going to 11 e diner.

This is a small local place and it delivered. They had terrific ice cream desserts. The shakes were awesome. The staff was very friendly. We just had desserts and I am disappointed that we had not planned to have a meal there. I love a good hot dog and I can’t wait to give that a try. Local places are the bomb. Come here.

This was a spur of the moment stop, based on the sign that said dairy bar and cheese spuds. Really had no idea what to expect when we went in. The gentleman up front was very friendly! Decided to have the cheese spuds, delicious! Got 2 orders. The strawberry shortcake Sunday was decent, nothing exciting really, the blue raspberry Icee unfortunately was very disappointing, not sure if it was the right syrup or if it was old, but it tasted more like snow cone syrup… so daughter didn’t want it. Bathrooms? Well…. I’m on the fence between the idea of a bathroom with no privacy doors on toilets to maybe they are family only bathrooms? I think I prefer doors… Overall cute little local place, clean and lots of parking.

Wonderful place to go for a light snack or a big burger and milkshake. I got the ham and cheese sandwich which comes with mayonnaise, lettuce and tomato, with fries and a peanut butter and banana milkshake. Everything was great!

My son and I went for the first time today. He got a kids sundae and I got a brownie fudge sundae. I actually expected to get a good brownie, but instead got what seemed like Little Debbie cosmic brownies. I was pretty disappointed and ended up throwing the brownies and half of the soft serve away. One of the brownies also had a small piece of the wrapper still on the bottom of it. The food smelled amazing. I wouldn’t mind going back to order something else, just not the brownie sundae again.

My daughter and I have this thing where we go to Lil places off the beaten path to eat.get that feel of the small town food.we went to old town dairy bar today.its a cute Lil spot.i had the hamburger steak plate.i have to say the portions were very small.not worth the money at all.it was good .but just not worth the price.she had the boss burger and fries.which was quite a big burger.she enjoyed it.the people were friendly.and we both had hot fudge cakes that were amazing.clean establishment!overall a nice trip.

I always remember coming here as a kid and getting ice cream sundaes or cones with my mom and dad and brother it’s a nice little place jonesborough has kept running smoothly it’s old probably needs remodeled but always has nice people and they always have amazing ice cream everything! food is pretty awesome also but I like coming here to get ice cream sundaes or old fashioned banana splits or any milkshake you can’t get anywhere else just saying pictures below are hot fudge cakes and it’s a special on Tuesday nights for a dollar 1.99 look at all that awesomeness

I used to brag about this place and recommend it to people but sadly it has gone so down hill. The cleanliness is beyond questionable and the staff are rude 99% of the time. The last few trips have been negative experiences but the final straw was getting there at 8:54 ( a night they closed at 9) just to get my sick daughter a blizzard, would have taken two minutes to make no food or anything just a blizzard, to be greeted at the speaker by a worker coming out of the door saying “sorry we closed early.” and before I can say anything at all the employee closed the door and walked away. I tried so hard to keep supporting a small business but sadly they don’t care about their customers.
