This is such a hidden gem. Very beautiful place to come have a beer with family/friends. There is plenty of space for kids to run but not to many options for children. There is a food truck right out front if you need anything for the kids. Very private and calm relaxing environment.

Old Town Biergarten is a beautiful new bar that’s quickly become a local favorite. Housed in a former nursery, the outdoor space is stunning, with plenty of seating for large groups—perfect for parties or casual nights out.

There’s always a great food truck on site—last night we had amazing shrimp and carne asada tacos. The service? Outstanding. Friendly, fast, and super accommodating.

Whether you’re there for fight night, a birthday, or just drinks with friends, this place delivers. Highly recommended!

Such a cool little spot that you would never know is there! Small inside and outside area, but intimate and full of greenery. Great food truck was on site too.

After living in Germany for over 6 years and actually experiencing the culture at actual Biergartens (on a weekly basis ), this local central coast location fills that billet well. No, there arent brats or pretzels on the ready for you, not all Biergartens have a kitchen, but the selection of local cycling food trucks are an even better option! A Biergarten is about community, being able to have amazing atmosphere of outdoor-seating, family and comradery. I am happy to say the 805 has somewhere worth coming home to now.

If you want to know what living in Deutschland and experiencing an authentic biergarten, I can educate you… or just go to OTB und schnapp dir ein bier und halt die klappe. PROST.

This place is seriously one of the coolest spots I’ve been to lately. I went with a group of friends and we ended up staying way longer than planned because the vibe was just that good. It’s in this old nursery turned outdoor bar, and the setup is super chill—tons of space, cool lighting, and perfect for a hangout or pregame spot.

They had a food truck there that night with carne asada fries that were insanely good. The staff was awesome too—super friendly and fast, which made everything even better.

Whether you’re there for a UFC fight, someone’s birthday, or just looking to kick back with a few drinks, this place nails it. Definitely adding it to the regular rotation.

New venue in Old Town Orcutt. Basic but decent beer selections on draft, in cans and bottles. Indoor and outdoor areas with plenty of room for families and groups. Used to be a nursery so the outdoor area is very nice and and inviting. There’s a propane fire pit and multiple propane patio heaters. Chair and picnic bench seating. Expecting this venue to grow and evolve. Overall great first experience.

I visited Old Town Biergarten expecting a Biergarten like experience, but unfortunately, it fell short in almost every way. The name is completely misleading. This is just a generic bar with little to no resemblance to a real Biergarten.

First, let’s talk about the beer. A proper Biergarten should have a solid selection of German-style beers—hefeweizens, lagers, pilsners, served in proper glassware. Instead, the beer options were limited, and to make matters worse, everything was served in plastic cups. That alone took away from the authenticity and enjoyment of the experience.

The food was another major letdown. Rather than attempting to provide a menu of Bavarian staples like pretzels, bratwurst, schnitzel, or sauerkraut, the venue relied on rotating food trucks with random offerings. While food trucks can be great, it felt like there was no real effort to create a cohesive Biergarten atmosphere.

The “garden” itself? Pretty much nonexistent—just a few scattered bushes. Traditional Biergärten have lush greenery, here, it was just an average outdoor bar setup.

The one redeeming quality was the outdoor atmosphere itself, which was decent, but it wasn’t enough to save the experience. If you’re looking for an actual German Biergarten experience, this is not the place. I wouldn’t return or recommend it to others.

Really chill new spot with selection of local beers and lots of seating. Nice outdoor patio (with plants for sale) and fire pits, and space for kiddos to play games. Will come back to try the food trucks.

Great experience. It was full for the time I went and even as I enjoyed my brew outside.
I stayed warm with the Patio Heater at the table I sat at, enjoying my burger from the Local Food Truck.
