We were looking for something for dinner and decided to go on Google, Aftet reviewing this Old Time Chinese restaurants reviews, we thought we should stop by here to test it out.
Didn’t disappoint us at all..
Great warm welcome the minute we entered. You feel that welcome immediately. The staff the owner was around there greeting us. It’s a very cozy warm place. Then the food. We ordered C4 crispy or chily bone in-duck. B4 Mapo Tofu with ground Beef. E2 Braised Pork or Steamed Pork Slices. The food was Great.
My preference with the kind of duck dish is bone out, however it was definitely delicious.
I would highly recommend this restaurant. But my suggestions is you should come over and try it out for yourselves and also enter your comments if you just saw mine here.

I rarely leave comments, but this restaurant really deserves one. The food is great, and the service and atmosphere are excellent too. I also love the little details—like the bookshelf by the washroom entrance where you can grab a book while waiting. The overall interior feels so warm and cozy. Highly recommend.

I love this restaurant! It is my favourite place to eat not only for the delicious food, but because of the warm atmosphere. It’s a joy to visit. A cozy little hidden gem that serves up the tastiest dishes.
Have pretty much tried almost every item on the menu and every single one is a delight to my taste buds. The food served is consistently on point!

Food-Loving Traveler
The owners are so friendly. They loved showing my kids their train set; you can tell they do this for love. Every table/chair is hand made or built especially for this family-owned restaurant. Food was fantastic, just like a home-cooked meals. To those who question the authenticity of these reviews: Look, I’m a local guide who has given lots of reviews around the world, AND we go there almost every week because it’s just that good.

Had a great experience at Old Time Chinese Cuisine. The service was attentive and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. The most impressive part was the decor. The ceiling paintings of the countryside are really charming. You can tell they put a lot of thought into the little details
The restaurant was also very clean and comfortable, which made the whole dining experience even better. I’d definitely revisit and recommend (eggplant green bean) it to anyone looking for Chinese food.

Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. Came on a Saturday night and asked the waiter what he would recommend and he did not disappoint. He recommended the cumin lamb, eggplant Lo mein and we stuck with a classic general tso’s chicken just in case. The 2 dishes he recommended were our favourite. We ordered another recommended dish to go, since we are from out of town, the pickled pepper and bamboo beef. Lots of great flavours and perfect spices. Service was incredibly fast and knowledgeable with insightful recommendations. Ambiance was quaint, and some old-time classic jazz instrumental in the background created a lovely atmosphere. Top it off with some delicious nutty desserts to make a perfect meal on a Saturday night. Whenever we are out this way, we will definitely be coming back!

Such an amazing dining experience. It really is a hidden gem, as I rarely find authentic Chinese cuisine like this outside of Markham/Scarborough. Maybe not so hidden on weekends as they were quite busy when I visited! Their menu is not nearly as long as most Chinese restaurants, which is nice because you do not need to spend much time picking and choosing between dishes that sound the same. Everything on their menu, I trust, is chosen with care, as every dish we tried was amazing.
My favourite dish was definitely the Beef with Enoki Mushroom and Vermicelli (33.95). I have never had anything like this before! It is so flavourful without being oily, we liked it so much we ended up ordering another. The portion is pretty decent for the price. The portions of some dishes are definitely better than others, you can try and judge it with the photos I’ve included. I also loved the Sweet and Sour Ribs (22.95). In general, everything we got was good, but these were just my favourites. I saw a lot of other tables ordering huge heapings of noodles, but our table wasn’t interested due to dietary restrictions. I’ll have to come back myself to try it!
