Came in for Queen’s Feast. Haven’t been to Belmont in a while. It was our first time here. Kelli was our server she was so nice and attentive. We started off with the Thai Shrimp . We didn’t like that..the egg batter was a no for us. Thankfully the manager allowed us to switch over to the shortrib and that was delicious. Then we went ahead and ordered our dinner. I had the shrimp cocktail which was made even better by their cocktail sauce. Husband had the crabcake. Also very tasty. We both had the ceasar salad . For our entree I had a filet with garlic herb butter, and my husband had the pork shank. All the portions left us without wanting more ! But we finished with a creme brulee! Truly a great experience. We will definitely be back

I was excited to try Old Stone Steakhouse for the first time. We were greeted by two lovely hostesses and, although we arrived a bit early, the short wait was no issue. We headed to the bar, where the bartender was engaging and made excellent drinks—great start to the evening.

Once seated, I was disappointed to find the chair cushion was clearly worn out. There was a hard board underneath that made the seat uncomfortable for the duration of the meal. It’s a small detail, but it matters—especially in a steakhouse.

Our server, Brianna, was fantastic: polite, attentive, and on top of everything.

Unfortunately, my ribeye was a miss. It was excessively fatty—easily the worst cut of meat I’ve been served. I could only eat about half. On the upside, the side salad was outstanding—honestly one of the best I’ve had. The other three guests at our table loved their meals, so this felt more like a bad cut than a systemic issue.

Overall, we still enjoyed our evening and will be back. I’ll try a different cut next time—and hopefully the restaurant puts a few dollars into refreshing the seating. Solid experience, just needs a bit of fine-tuning.

Old Stone Steakhouse delivered an outstanding experience from start to finish. The staff was genuinely phenomenal—welcoming, attentive, and professional without ever feeling overbearing. Service was smooth and well-paced. The food quality was exceptional across the board: perfectly cooked steaks, thoughtful sides, and great flavor all around. It’s clear they take pride in what they do. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-tier dining experience.
Phenomenal staff, excellent service, great drinks and exceptional food quality.

For my wife’s 75th birthday I thought I would take her somewhere special. I made reservations weeks in advance, yet was seated in the passageway at a small table where we were forced to sit at 90° to each other. We asked for a different table but were told that would not be possible. Our server obviously had rather been somewhere else. The cocktails arrived and was a disappointment as were the steaks which followed. A New York that was half fat, and half grisly. Thankfully my wife’s sirloin was much better. I will never return to this establishment.

Overall, our experience wasn’t great but wasn’t terrible. The restaurant itself is very nice for a date night or medium size parties. The drinks were strong (good/bad depending on what you like). Three of the items I wanted were not available on a Saturday at 7pm (prime rib, sweet potato casserole and Parmesan rolls) I expected the prime rib to be out, but the side and rolls were a bit of a surprise to be out…
Wife got the fillet, which looked perfectly cooked, but she said lacked seasoning. My short rib fettuccine, I wouldn’t get again even if it was free. It was box pasta, and overall lacked any seasoning or flavor. The short ribs themselves were ok, but still lacking seasoning. I found myself continually adding salt and pepper. The giant chunks of onions were a tad off-putting as well. The sweet potato fries I ended up getting as a side were very good. As a token of apology our waitress gave us a complimentary desert (creme brulee) which was the best thing of the night. Our waitress was great. She was attentive, quick and apologetic with the out of stock items.

Although we had a lackluster experience, I will come back and give them another try in the future and hopefully can change this to a 5 star review!

First time visit, ordered prime rib 10oz menu showed $32 which is expensive but tried anyway. It was not that good, cut was fatty, spices were not great, definitely not worth the $39(yes that’s right, higher than menu showed) that was billed. Bcs I was with others on a combined bill, didn’t want to make a fuss. I will never order it again, IF I ever go back. Waitress was awesome, atmosphere was good. Food others had was good.

Old Stone Steakhouse is a great choice in the bustling downtown of Belmont. Be careful not to walk right past the door when you arrive!

Old Stone Steakhouse has big menu with several delectable options. Our group started dinner with the fried pickle chips and skillet dinner rolls. Both were great. The pickle chips were not overly breaded, so the flavor was primarily the tangy pickle. The garlic butter made the warm rolls even more delicious.

At our table, the ribeye with mashed potatoes, the New York strip with a baked potato, and the southern-style chopped steak with mashed potatoes were ordered. Everyone was extremely pleased with the portion, taste and quality of the meat. We ordered a vanilla creme brulee for dessert, and that was the star of the meal!

The restaurant is intimate and buzzing with conversation. The service was prompt and friendly.

The only thing I can say that was good about this was a service. Our waitress bent over backwards to accommodate us and to make it worth memorable. It was on Valentine’s Day. They had one menu, a set plate that they were gonna sell you for a $100.

Unfortunately, this place doesn’t have 5 star steaks. I ordered the prime rib and it was tough, could barely cut it and the outer edges were like beef jerky. Yes I made them aware of it and yes they removed it. No one in my party was satisfied with their steaks but none spoke up but me unfortunately. I wouldn’t return for a steak, maybe apps and a drinks but that’s it.

This was for my birthday dinner, oh well so much for a good steak dinner but with majority of places, people will eat anything and say it’s great.

Waitress was just ok, nothing outstanding.

If you have a big party, supposedly they only allow 2 checks per table which is beyond stupid. Just an fyi

The Old Stone Steakhouse in Belmont is a wonderful find, delivering excellent food and a genuinely relaxed dining experience. We were impressed across the board, from the appetizers to the main courses, and especially by the standout service and environment.
We started with a few of the appetizers, which were all fantastic and clearly made with high-quality ingredients—a truly great start to the meal. For the main event, the steaks were exactly what you’d expect from a good steakhouse: well-prepared, perfectly cooked, and flavorful.
However, the unexpected star of our visit was the Salmon BLT. It was absolutely delicious. The salmon was perfectly flaky and moist, complementing the crisp bacon and fresh toppings beautifully. It’s a must-try if you’re looking for a lighter, yet incredibly satisfying, option.
The atmosphere contributes hugely to the experience. The restaurant is spotless and impeccably clean, and the setting is quiet and relaxed, allowing for easy conversation. Paired with the good, attentive service, it makes for a thoroughly enjoyable night out.
Highly recommended for anyone in the Belmont area looking for great food and a peaceful, pleasant place to dine!
