What an amazing anniversary dinner.
The staff are very friendly and attentive, very knowledgeable of the menu which made it easier to pick from the vast menu.
The food was amazing and very reasonably priced!
Highly recommend if you’re looking for your new go to Thai restaurant!!

The restaurant was nicely decorated and the staff were very welcoming and service was quick, however the food was mediocre.
We started with chicken Satay and spicey coconut soup, which were both quite nice, so we were looking forward to the mains of prawn Pad Thai and red Thai curry.
The Pad Thai had a greasy taste, like old cooking oil and was lacking in any Thai fragrant flavours, I found it just bland and sloppy. The red curry was the same really, it just tasted like red curry paste with coconut milk, there was no zesty lime or fresh Coriander, I can definitely cook better Thai food at home.
It’s a shame because the restaurant has great reviews, but apparently the people who have given 5 stars probably haven’t eaten proper Thai food.
The presentation was good and the lunchtime menu was reasonably priced but the main courses were lacking authentic Thai aromatic flavours.

The food had good portions and we all enjoyed what we ordered and the wine is also not overly expensive. The staff were all very friendly and polite.

Quite possibly the best Thai restaurant, or even restaurant in general, in the world. I have tried a lot of Thai restaurants and none come close to this. The food is always incredible, portions are generous and the staff are so lovely. I particularly enjoy the massaman curry, nutty chicken curry and mixed starter. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of trying it!

As a family of six, we strolled into this restaurant for dinner today, it’s Thursday. Sure, we spotted the place and thought it’d be worth a try, but the moment we arrived, the staff had the audacity to ask if we had an appointment. We explained we were walk-in customers, and what does he do? He gives us the most ridiculous body language and a blatant attitude of ‘no appointment, cannot cannot’. We totally get that if you’re fully booked, that’s it, but there was no need for such utter rudeness. Every customer deserves respect, and it’s appalling that just because you’re busy, you think it’s acceptable to treat people like that. I’m absolutely never coming back here again.

Old Siam in Hertford is a great Thai Restaurant. Very welcoming and you get the real feeling that they appreciate your custom. Vast range of starters and an extensive range of main courses, rice and noodle dishes. Parking is not easy but worth the effort as the meal was very enjoyable.

I love this place. The traditional decor (imported from Thailand by the Thai owner) is beautiful, I particularly love the traditional seating area, but the tables we sat at on this occasion was as nice. Food is delicious (although my husband wasn’t as impressed with his new dish sadly) but he ate it so it wasn’t terrible. Main complaint would be that some dishes are quite expensive for what you get; my pad Thai with shrimps though was perfect. Took my leftovers home and it made for an enjoyable lunch the next day. Servers were great too, very attentive and so polite.
