Stopped in during our reset in Post Falls and we’re so glad we did! The food was fantastic — the cheese curds were the best I’ve had outside of the Minnesota State Fair and worth the stop all on their own. The atmosphere has that perfect local vibe, the service was friendly, and everything felt welcoming from the moment we walked in. I also tried their Huckleberry specialty cocktail (when in Idaho, you have to!) and it was delicious, while my husband enjoyed a great mocha. Great spot to stop in for some food and drinks. It is a bar but they do have a kitchen and food options. They have several bloody marry options with some upgrades. We went on a Sunday around noon and it was quiet. They have dart boards and a pool table.

This is such a neat concept with great food and drinks. Live music while we were there and the piano player was really good. Food was delicious and good portions. If you’re looking for a lively trivia night with a typical bar atmosphere, this may not be the right fit. Meeting up with coworkers for a meal, we decided to stay for trivia night. There were seven of us, not all were drinking.. Guests were frequently instructed to keep quiet and cautioned about intoxication bu Tristen, which made the experience feel more like a classroom than a bar. I’ve been to other trivia bars and it’s usually a fun energetic atmosphere. Not here. Trivia itself was fine, but the rules overshadowed the fun. We ended up leaving before it ended. We will find another spot to gather.

Overall, the food was good. Lettuce in our salad was a little limp, and I wish all these restaurants would use a different frozen fry other than the same ole batter coated one. I liked the onion rings. The place is nice and clean and looks like it would be a fun place to come on the weekends.

I’ve been to Old School Liquor Bar a couple of times but never during happy hour. What a pleasant surprise! I ordered the boneless wings and the loaded fries, both were delicious! $5 cocktails and $5 craft IPA – yay!

This place is amazing!! Best “bar” food in northern Idaho. I cannot say one bad thing about our experiences here. Burgers are rad, the steak sandwich was soooooo good!! The bar is friendly and inviting. The servers are actually really nice. But, the food is definitely the star here!!!
