5 well-deserved stars for Cedeño’s Cuban Café at Broward Mall! I ordered chicken with rice and sweet plantains—everything was spectacular, homemade, and full of flavor. The service was excellent, friendly, and fast. Definitely a place to come back to!

Daily you will find a wide selection of food choices, they are all tasty! The portions are plentiful and service is quick. I’m so grateful that they are just minutes away, so I can get my favorites whenever I want.

There’s plenty of options, and I wanted to try this restaurant. The menu is easy to understand. The food ends up being very good. I like the rice and salmon here. I would eat here again. I recommend it if you want to try out some delicious food.

In passing by the food court at the Broward Mall in Plantation, I spotted this much-needed Cuban food eatery! They have a varied menu of all the Cuban favorites, so it was hard to make my selection without being glutinous. The attendant was very pleasant and helpful. I opted for something quick to go: chicken croquettes (made with béchamel sauce), an Iron Beer soda, and a tres leches. It was a better-than-good experience and I want to go back and have an actual meal there.

Wow!! I have eaten here several times, but I just had the chivo, and it was spectacular!! This would be great food if I was in a very nice cuban restaurant. But right here is the Broward Mall food court is the best Cuban food!! That’s crazy! It’s a nice mall, but this place is a total gem! Do yourself a huge favor and try it!! They have 2 homemade sauces behind the counter. Ask for them. The red is super spicy, and the green is mild. They are both delicious!

Ordered these food for my grandma and paid $19 for these junks.
Was supposed to be “skirt steak” but it’s just a dry, very salty piece of thing that looks like someone’s leftover food.
What was supposed to be “empanada” was very dry and thinnest one I’ve ever seen in my life. And where is the meat?
Quality is horrible. Definitely not worth it.
Threw them away immediately and bought other quality food. Not sure how they have the good reviews, probably from those that just want cheap food, not about the good quality.

I definitely do not recommend this restaurant. It is literally a waste of money and you will end up completely unhappy. I ordered two dishes, a churrasco and roast pork. Instead of roast pork they sent me ropa vieja. They kindly told me that I could go pick up the roast pork, although I’m not going to do that, because the quality of the food is very bad. Let’s put it this way: the churrasco, on a scale from 1 to 10, I would give it a five because the meat wasn’t bad, but it was not churrasco meat and that was more or less the only thing I liked.

The ropa vieja that these people sell, which I did not order, is terrible very poor quality, very badly made. Let’s talk about the sides: red beans for one dish and black beans for the other. I didn’t even try them because just by the horrible smell they had, I threw them straight into the garbage disposal. The tostones seemed like they had been made a week ago. As for the maduros, they were not freshly cut plantains they were frozen ones reheated, which was terrible. The vegetables were okay, nothing special just boiled vegetables.

In addition to that, I ordered a chicken soup and some chicken croquettes. Let’s start with the chicken soup: it looked like a pot of noodles with a small piece of chicken, and it looked like they spilled a ton of yellow coloring in it it looked horrible. I didn’t try it either; it also went to the garbage disposal.

And to conclude, the croquettes: I took one, cut it in half, and it looked like a fossil of a croquette. The appearance was so disgusting that I didn’t even try it. It looked like it had been fried a month ago and then reheated.

It would be good for the owner of this restaurant who I imagine invested a lot of money into it to pay attention to the quality of the food that is being served, because that is how businesses are lost.
