We stopped by for a lobster roll and had a good experience overall. The staff was extremely nice and started preparing our order right away. It did take a little time to get it done, but that’s understandable with fresh seafood.

This is definitely a take-and-go kind of place—there’s no seating inside, so keep that in mind if you’re planning to eat there.

The lobster roll itself was delicious—fresh, flavorful, and well made. That said, we did feel it was a bit overpriced at $34 for one roll. Great taste, just a little hard on the wallet. We ordered for 2 people so each plate had a half.

Worth trying if you’re craving a quality lobster roll and don’t mind the price!

Someone recommended we go here. The food was just OK. I came all the way from the south east to have a lobster roll in Maine and I was a little disappointed. I heard it was just like the best in town and I just felt like it had too much mayonnaise, the bread was pretty good and the meat was really good. I split it with my teenager because it was $34. Which was painful because I was imagining that it would just rock my world! However, it is lobster… In Main… So yummy either way. There’s no place to eat inside and there is parking across the street which is four dollars an hour

Wow. I’ve had lobster rolls before that don’t live up to the hype. This one exceeded it far and beyond.

The bread was warmed, buttered and toasted.

The lobster was perfectly tender. I have not been a fan of lobster before. Too much work for too little pay off, in my opinion. This lobster in this sandwich have changed my opinion forever.

The mix of mayonnaise and seasoning was light and balanced enhancing the flavor of the lobster.

Hands down the best lobster roll we had in New England. Soooo delicious! Ate on the bench in front of store. Overall memorable experience.

Super convenient location, especially if you’re on the go — but the coffee left a lot to be desired. We ordered a black coffee and an iced latte, and both were pretty underwhelming. The flavors were flat, and the quality didn’t match the price point.

If you’re in need of a quick caffeine fix, this spot will do the job. But if you’re looking for a great cup of coffee or something worth savoring, you might want to look elsewhere.

Very small shop with a selection of sundries and sandwiches. Not a bad deal for what they offer

Oh boy, where do I even start with Old Salt’s Pantry? If you’re looking for a place that understands how to satisfy a ravenous appetite, look no further. This morning, I had the pleasure of devouring their bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich, and let me tell you, it was like the breakfast gods themselves had a hand in crafting it. The bacon was crispy, the egg was perfectly cooked, and the cheese—ah, the cheese! Premium Boar’s Head, of course. It was the kind of sandwich that makes you reconsider all previous breakfast decisions in your life.

But let’s rewind to yesterday, when I tackled their Thanksgiving sandwich. Piled high with turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, and a generous helping of Boar’s Head turkey, it was a feast in between two slices of bread. I’m pretty sure I experienced every Thanksgiving dinner I’ve ever had all at once. If you’ve ever wondered what it feels like to be on a culinary pilgrimage, this is it. Each bite was like a nostalgic hug from a turkey-loving grandmother.

In summary, Old Salt’s Pantry is where your taste buds go to party, and the DJ is Boar’s Head. Don’t walk—run there. You can thank me later.

Went here for lunch today. They have some pretty creative names for their sandwiches. My wife and I split a sandwich because we weren’t that hungry. Well, the sandwich was enormous! It rivals the size of the sammies that The Stage and Carnegie delis served back in the day. It was also really good. Not much choice for chips or sides, but it served it’s purpose for us. Also, there’s no place to sit eat other than benches outside and it takes a while to get your food, but sitting outside watching the world go by is interesting.

As local as it gets, very friendly people and delicious food. We ordered breakfast sandwiches and a homemade muffin, all very good.
