Solid restaurant with a wide array of food choices from standard american fare (burgers and sandwiches) to seafood choices and daily specials. There’s also a brewery section a few doors down more focused on drinks. The pulled pork sandwich was good but not remarkable, and my family enjoyed their burgers.

Zack was an awesome server, super attentive and friendly from start to finish. The fish tacos were absolutely delicious, and the Fire Alarm Burger brought the perfect kick without overpowering the flavor. Easily a five-star experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Our waiter was so nice, I didn’t catch his name, but he was nice, added to the atmosphere. Food was descent for the price. Portions were larger than expected.

I had a wonderful experience at the Old Rappahannock Taphouse! I ordered the Caesar salad with blackened chicken, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and the salad was fresh and flavorful. Our server, Zachary, was exceptional. He was attentive, friendly, and made the entire visit even more enjoyable. The atmosphere was beautiful as well, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing and memorable meal. Highly recommend!

Thought we’d try a new place tonight. The “Old Rapp” did NOT disappoint! I had the steak and cheese tacos and my wife had their burger. Burger came with (2) 1/4lb patties and their FF’s are cut and hand made here! Steak and cheese tacos had an awesome flavor and the steak was super tender. Allot of food for the money and the service and atmosphere were great! We will be back soon.

We came in January 13, 2026, and ordered right away. Would have been our 3rd time since Christmas Town. Food had been great before and service was good before.
Got water served and we’re talking and reading and watching tv. About 20 minutes goes by and the waiter refills our water. Doesn’t say sorry for the wait or why it’s taking so long. About another 20 minutes goes by and nothing. It wasn’t busy, there were several tables available. We got up went somewhere else.

We went to the Taphouse tonight to celebrate our 29th anniversary. They were busy with a full house. Our hostess Molly got us seated with menus and explained that our server was busy but would be with us shortly. She took our drink order to get us started. Molly checked in on us a couple of times and apologized for us having to wait a bit. She then took our food order to help out her busy coworkers. As soon as our food was ready she delivered it to us fresh and hot. Our server came over to apologize which was a nice gesture but not needed as we watched him stay constantly on his feet serving his other customers. Molly stepped up to the plate and they all worked as a team. I hope that you all will look at giving Molly a chance to serve as she is a team player. The food was amazing, but the service was too! This was a perfect dinner. Way to go Molly!

Stopped in for an early dinner and enjoyed good food and great service. Hubby had a grilled chicken sandwich and I had a cheeseburger with bacon. Both came with yummy fries and both were delicious.
Its a fun atmosphere with lively music and twinkle lights on the ceiling. There’s also a patio for dining al fresco – something we’ll try next time.

Great value for high quality food in a nice contemporary setting. Service was very friendly and hospitable. Surprising keto choices. Hot Buffalo Chicken Dip appetizer and Cheese Steak tacos were served in portions large enough for 2 meals.

Let me tell you as a local, been here 3 years 1st visit. Customer service TOP NOTCH!! food epic! Please Open during football Sunday and Monday as expected ex patriots cheerleader 78-83 this place would rock!! Our waitress was epic!! Other staff constantly cleaning tables together I’ve never been so impressed in nnk, keep up the great work your staff incredible, this little girl made great tip well deserved! we will be back highly recommend bang bang shrimp!!
