My date got gumbo and said it was the best he has tasted around this area & also a steak meal and said it was great as well.
We did a late lunch on a Thursday at 2pm the restaurant wasn’t too busy and it was great
We celebrated National Oyster Day by indulging in their fresh Gulf Oysters, which were absolutely delightful.
The service was top-notch, with Katie and Savanna providing attentive and knowledgeable service, crafting exceptional cocktails in the process.
The Buffalo Blue Cheese and Pimento Cheese and Jalapeño oysters were expertly prepared, and the Truffle Fries were a highlight, with the OP Sauce being a masterful blend of spices and creaminess. Meeting Chef Rick was the icing on the cake, showcasing his passion and expertise.
Given the quality of food and service, Old Palafox will undoubtedly become our go-to spot.
This restaurant was so beautiful. The decor, music, ambiance….definitely was great date night vibe.
Our servers were on it…constantly checking up on us, making sure our glasses were full, and if everything was okay.
Im a vegetarian so there are limited choices, but glad I did have options. Fries really didnt have any flavor, but the dipping sauce wasnt bad either. Strawberry salad was good…I think the menu said pecans, but I didnt have any.
I definitely want to go back to try other things off the menu. Its a great place if you dont want the loud bar place, but want a really cool place to hang!
We had cocktails and 4 small plates. Ceviche, grilled oysters, tuna toastada and goat cheese fritter. All were delicious with a fine presentation.
Value was appropriate.
