What a great place! Food was great, nice drinks, and fun outdoor atmosphere! We ordered lots of things off of the menu, ribs, smoked wings, Mac, bunch of other stuff, beer, wine, everything was spot on. Sat outside and puffed on a cigar after dinner. Perfect place to eat and relax when I visit town, you should also!

First time here and we decided this is our new favorite bar! We were welcomed immediately by Paul and our server, Erin, greeted us with a friendly smile. We ordered the chicken tenders and they were, by far, the BEST! They were actually hand-breaded! I ordered a side of Buffalo wing sauce and ranch. Wow! Next we ordered the pickle fries. Delicious! Lightly breaded and cooked to perfection!
They also have a wonderful outdoor patio with firepits that are burning as I speak! The ambiance is great and most importantly there is music playing constantly, for free!
I highly recommend this place for the food, the service and ambiance!

I visited The Old Man Bar for the first time on Saturday night with a friend. The food was good, but unfortunately the service and tab process left a bad impression.
When ordering, I was told I needed to put a card down for the whole table and that we could split the total at the end. I was about to use the QR code, but the server said either option was fine. My friend doesn’t carry a physical card, which is why we chose a bar we heard utilized a QR system, so I gave my card to the server.
What wasn’t explained is that they place a hold for the entire table’s tab on one card. I typically never leave a tab open but wasn’t given that option here. My actual bill was around $30, and my friend paid his portion, but an $81.88 charge was left pending on my account, temporarily tying up about $50 I had budgeted for other plans.
When I asked about it, the server said it would adjust once the card was run for my total bill, but it never did. I later emailed management (the phone number appears to be disconnected) and was told that tabs should be closed after each item to avoid this, and that the extra amount could take 3–5 days to fall off depending on the bank. He was very helpful. Unfortunately, none of this was communicated while we were there. Had I known, I would’ve handled the bill differently.

AMAZING atmosphere. Only had one server on that night, though… which was obviously too much to handle for one person. Got Brisket sandwiches, very very dry… sauce was pretty (spicy is the best if you like anything with flavor) good but didn’t cover up how flavorless and dry the meat was.
The pretzel bites with queso appetizer is dynamite. Good beer selection.
Dog friendly is always a plus. Their outside seating is incredible!
Don’t know that I’d go back for the food/service.

The old man bar is awesome! The bartenders are super nice, awesome teamwork you get a beer before you even ask for it and get it! The atmosphere and the beer garden is the better one yet around Denver Metro Area! Normally, I wouldn’t post this so Tiktok people don’t ruin it, but I want this bar to stay in business forever! The barbecue is great, i got the ribs and they’re good! I don’t live in this part of town so I don’t usually get this far north. I might take the massive Uber to get here and drink here again for sure! Give the bartenders a bonus they’re so cool! That beer garden is top notch! Yes i’m super fanning about this bar!

I love this bar! The food is so delicious! I always get the ribs or hand breaded chicken tenders. The staff are amazing, very outgoing and attentive. My family likes to hangout here for football Sundays, they have a huge patio and a Jumbotron! The best part is they’re dog friendly so you don’t have to leave the fur babies at home!

First, I just want to say above all – i totally love this bar. I recommend it to everyone & I drag my friends out there with me all the time!! There is truly no better outdoor atmosphere as perfect as this one.
But, I was there with some friends and a worker came up to us & told us that there was no dogs allowed after 10…… & respectfully, I just didn’t understand because I thought old man’s biggest catch was that they were SO dog friendly. They said that it is against the law & it was posted on every sign. Just a bummer because I was the one that recommended this place & went home before coming after work just to get my dog and encouraged the others to do it as well… I couldn’t find anything online stating that this was truly state law & I didn’t see it anywhere on their signs or their website.
Like I said, truly an incredible bar and the summer vibes are absolutely amazing. Just not as dog friendly as they make out to be! Don’t take the extra 30 minutes after work to bring your pup along!

The menu sounded good, so I tried calling earlier in the day to ask if their patio was pet-friendly. Obviously there was no answer. Google maps sent us the dumbest way possible down an alley. When we got there, we noticed a sign indicating they were pet-friendly. Yay! We looked for a way in straight to the patio but only saw a gate with a padlock. Because of that, we headed to the front door, where we noticed a sign saying dogs must enter through the patio only. Duh. My husband went inside to find an employee to open the gate. After several minutes, he had found no one except 2 guys playing pool, so we left. If they aren’t really open for happy hour at 3:00, they should not advertise that.

I love the loaded Mac n cheese…it has delicious cheesy shells, pulled pork, and their yummy green chili. It’s my go-to. The only suggestion I have is the soda they serve is so incredibly watered down, it’s awful. I don’t drink and I bring my kids here. It would be nice if they fixed the syrup level or served bottled colas etc. I get that it’s a bar, but I’ve never been to a bar that served pop this low in syrup. Everything else is great here. Delicious bbq.
Follow up to questions about soda: We visited several times in the summer and the soda was always like that. I asked someone there who said that they use less syrup since it’s a bar and most drinks are mixed. I assumed that meant either people want to taste the alcohol, or, they don’t really care if there isn’t enough syrup because the alcohol hides that.

Old Man Bar has been one of our local favorites for many years. This was our first time having brunch. And WOW! .. The food was scrumptious! We had the breakfast burrito & biscuits & gravy. Always love the BBQ and the expansive outdoor seating. Staff are always friendly, helpful & happy (a true testimony to the management/owners) ❤
