We’ve been regular clients on this restaurant for quite some years now. We’ve seen them grow in space and items on the menu, change if scenery. We come to this restaurant as a date night or family and friends get together. Impecable service, the best Ossobuco and risotto I’ve tried (and I’ve tried some) this place doesn’t disappoint tine after time. I never give my input on the price because if you like dining out and fine dining, you should make sure you have a nice budget set aside for your experience before you go to the place. Go and enjoy, you won’t regret it.

I absolutely love this place! It’s near where I get my hair cut so whenever I get my hair cut, I treat myself to lunch here. The food is outstanding. The atmosphere is fantastic and the waiters are attentive. Jaime is my go to waiter here. I have him pick out my wine. I highly recommend!

An exceptional dining experience! The Portuguese cuisine is authentic and absolutely delicious, from the traditional codfish pastries to the perfectly prepared seafood rice. The service is attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting—ideal for family dinners or a romantic night out. Definitely a place I’ll keep coming back to. Highly recommended!.

Old Lisbon is so much more than a restaurant, it’s a story, a legacy, and a love letter to Portuguese cuisine. The name “Old Lisbon” (also known as Antiga Lisboa in Portuguese) is likely a nostalgic homage to the capital city of Portugal..Since the moment you walk in, you feel the warmth and soul of a place that has deep roots. The cozy, welcoming atmosphere makes it feel like you’ve stepped into someone’s home back in Portugal. That makes sense, considering the story behind it: when Carlos Silva arrived in Miami from Portugal in the 1990s.
Through his vision and passion, he transformed Old Lisbon into what it is today: a cherished Portuguese fine dining experience with three locations that still feel like a family-run “taberna”.
We ordered several signature dishes and each one was absolutely exceptional.
– Bolinhos de Bacalhau: crispy on the outside, perfectly fluffy and savory inside. The perfect start.
– Mexilhão à D. Francisco: mussels swimming in a rich tomato consommé, paired with slices of smoky Portuguese sausage. Comforting and packed with flavor.
– Bacalhau à Old Lisbon: a showstopper. Breaded cod fillet layered with onions, garlic, creamy mashed potatoes, and olive oil. It’s like a culinary hug.
– Robalo (Branzino): fresh, delicately grilled fillet served with zucchini, squash, eggplant, peppers, onions, and the traditional “punched potatoes.” A colorful and balanced plate that lets the fish shine.
Beyond the food, it’s the hospitality that ties it all together. Lucia and Ricardo made us feel right at home with their attentive and genuine service, true Portuguese warmth from beginning to end.
Old Lisbon is one of those places that manages to stay true to its roots while growing into something special. A must-visit if you want to experience the real flavor (and soul) of Portugal in Miami.

Excellent service. Very patient and everyone treated us like vip. My bacalao was too salty and rubbery to enjoy. The mashed potatoes were delicious though but the food was heavy on my stomach afterwards. The other fish pictured which was a special, was cooked well and not over salted.

My family and I came to check out this restaurant. We had reservations at 7:30 pm and we showed up 10 – 15 minutes early. The place had a couple of tables open, but they still told us and another party to wait by the bar. Once we were seated we ordered our food and drinks. After that, we didn’t see our waitress for a long time. No bread was given to us either. Our table was next to the bar and since our food was taking forever I was observing the bartenders. They were eating snacks and oranges by the bar and making people drinks. In my opinion that’s unethical and unsanitary. After a long time waiting, our food came and everyone enjoyed their meal. I asked my steak medium well and they gave it to me rare. I still ate it because I was not gonna wait another 30 minutes to get my food come out right. The waitress never asked us if we needed anything else. For an expensive and fancy restaurant, this was a lousy service. Once we got home later at night my family started to feel sick. They gotten food poisoning. I was lucky not to get it. I was also reading other people’s review that they experience the same thing. I don’t know what’s going on in this restaurant that people are getting food poisoning, but I would stay away from here.

A bit of a mixed feeling here.
I had an absolutely great lamb dish and others in my party that got seafood found it to be a bit lacking.
Excellent lemonade too.
Generous portion sizes.
I’ll probably go there again if in the area.
