Amazing restaurant perfect for Valentine day. Love the atmosphere and ambience of restaurant. The hotel itself is beautiful and that continues inside the restaurant. Service was top tier with great recommendations. We had the crab cake for a starter with a smoked old fashion and a glass of pinot. Main course was the 16oz prime rib which melted in your mouth with an added lobster tail. The sides where Brussels sprouts which are a must try and the loaded potatoes which could be a meal in itself. Definitely didn’t need desert but waited recommended the crème brûlée which did not disappoint. After tip the whole dinner was just alittle over $350. As far as steak houses go this wasn’t bad and I feel like I got my moneys worth. Had plenty of left over and you will not leave hungry. They also validate parking just remember to bring your ticket with you instead of leaving it in the car like I did.

We had the Caesar salad and steak wedge for starters. Both were very good, although the Caesar salad was a little bit overcooked dressed. Following that we both had the Chilean seabass with a sauce that contained grapes and turnips. On the side were three asparagus spears. Both dishes were pretty good, but should have been better since they were so expensive. The seabass was slightly overcooked and the asparagus was tough. The wine was very good, but overpriced. Our servers were exceptional.

My wife & I arrived at Denver after a long flight and decided to try this Steakhouse at the Gaylord Hotel. The service provided by Brandon & Stacey was outstanding. Very attentive and courteous. Food was excellent. A little to pricey

Okay here’s the thing with this place. There’s nothing really wrong here. The service was absolutely amazing. Dena and Aquina deserve a raise. Amazing service. No issues there. The atmosphere was very nice. Fancy ambience makes it feel super high class and everything looked nice and clean. Now on to the food….
The salad we had was absolutely amazing. Dena recommended it and she said it had just been put back on the menu and that its a favorite of the people there. So I was interested after she said that. I think it was called Harvest Walnut salad? Or something like that. But when I read the description first, I was not interested. It didnt seem like a combination of ingredients that would taste good to me at least. Walnuts, pomegranate, goat cheese, some kind of vinaigrette dressing. But she was pretty high on it so my wife and I ordered it. It was fantastic. Such a burst of delicious flavor. We both looked at each other and said if this is any indication of the rest of the food, then we are in for the meal of our lives. It was not. We received our main course shortly after and the presentation was beautiful. We were both very excited. She had the prime ribeye with seared shrimp, and I had the 8oz filet with a lobster tail added.
I ordered my steak medium rare, she ordered her steak medium. Hers appeared to be more medium rare than mine but mine was still medium rare. So here’s the thing… these steaks are terribly overpriced for the quality. I was expecting the steak to melt. To slice through it like butter. This was not the case. Both of our steaks were kinda hard to cut. Mine was a bit less difficult. The flavor was good. They weren’t bad steaks. But they are NOT worth 72 dollars for the ribeye and 62 dollars for the filet. My filet was quite dry actually. I was shocked. We both were shocked. This was the one nice dinner we had on our short time at the resort and we had a babysitter so it was our nice night out by ourselves and a date night that we haven’t had in a long time. My wife wanted to treat us to an amazing dinner and we read reviews of old hickory and they were mostly good. The food was a let down. It shouldve been priced about as much as a Texas roadhouse or longhorn steakhouse or even maybe Outback steakhouse. 291 dollars for the final bill and the only thing we thoroughly enjoyed, as far as the food, was the salad.
Now I may be a little biased because I cook steak regularly and I am quite good at it. I cooked a steak more than a week before this dinner that was easily the best steak I’ve ever made and definitely one of the best I’ve ever tried period. So my expectations were kind of high. But for the price, I dont think they were too high. We were disappointed. Not because of the food in general, but because of the price of that food. We thought about getting dessert but decided against it because the bill was already going to be outrageous. And it was. Dena should be given a raise and so should Aquina though. We did not want to spoil the service by telling them we were not happy with the quality of our steaks. They did amazing. So thank you to them. The last picture is a picture of the steak I made for reference.

Katie made our 10-year anniversary truly unforgettable. From the moment we sat down, she was warm, attentive, and genuinely kind. She took the time to walk us through the menu, offered thoughtful recommendations, and made everything feel special without ever being overbearing.

Her energy was so sweet and welcoming, and you could tell she truly cares about creating a great experience for her guests. She struck the perfect balance of being informative and personable, which made our evening feel relaxed and celebratory.

Because of Katie, our night wasn’t just dinner — it was a memory. We’re so grateful for her and will absolutely be back!

What a lovely, immaculate bar. We visited for their “Apéritif Hour” from 5pm to 7pm. They offer a list of fancy cocktails for $14 each & a list of small plates & lite bites.

Celebrated our anniversary here and it was a delightful experience. Chris and Wendoline took great care of us and everything was delicious. They were helpful with recommendations and guidance about how much to order and our meal was exquisite. Looking forward to coming back the next time we need to treat ourselves.

Really disappointed. We were staying at the Gaylord and wanted a great dinner with my wife. We ordered appetizers and they were ok but the lobster mac had minimal seafood for the add on price of 18. I ordered the ribeye and I was completely disappointed as it was so cold it couldn’t even melt the butter onto the steak. I sent the steak back to at least warm it up and the sent me the steak back that may have been stuck in a broiler or even a microwave. The amount of tendon and fat in the cut was horrific. Probably one of the worst steaks I’ve had in a very long time. Don’t call yourself a steakhouse when that was the biggest failure point of the night. The servers switched mid dinner to a new server and had a 5 minute explanation that they were just slow and he was getting cut. The waitress who took over barely came to the table. When she did it was so quick we had to try and call her back and get her attention. She offered free dessert but that was just as bad as the dinner. I would forego this place and spend the $100 uber round trip to somewhere else. Anywhere else really. I did get my steak fix at longhorn shameful it was way better and I don’t normally do chains

My friends and I went for dinner here and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had filets, salmon, mashed potatoes, and brussel sprouts. The sprouts were top notch as well as the honey butter that comes with the rolls. Katie was a fantastic server, so attentive and friendly. Their pastry chef is a chocolatier, so the chocolate cake was delicious!!

Wow! We went last with my in-laws and husband after doing ice. I have dined at nice establishments but I have to say this was by far one of the best places I have been too. The quality of the food was inscribable and had a lot of fresh flavors. We ordered the grand seafood tower, lobster bisque, steaks, mac and cheese, whipped potatoes, and creme brûlée. I loved the portion sizing it was perfect for the table. The atmosphere was great and very clean. My only recommendation which wouldn’t affect my rating is to turn down the music a little bit since it was hard to hear the server at times. Other than that it was great! Will be coming back!

By the way, my father in law is gluten free and loved the options he had on the menu to eat gluten free. He also said it was the best gluten free bread rolls he ever had.
