this diner was so awesome. My dad and I went after his colonoscopy and it was the perfect thing to fill him up after weeks of not eating. We got matching omelettes and some toes, and the home fries were so good. Everyone was super nice and friendly and we got to see a lot of men in uniform when we walked in so that was great too! Come here for some good views, some classic food, and some great service.

Finally found a diner spot like this where the food quality was outstanding. The open kitchen layout where you can see your foood being cooked mere feet from your table, and the old fashioned atmosphere with old timey 35 cent hamburger pictures and grilled cheese deals from the past could only be trumped by the great service, delicious food, and very reasonable prices that havent been lifted to gauge customers like most diners nowadays….could be considered as one of the nicest dining experiences I have had in a while

This is the best diner food around. Portions are very generous, prices are very fair, and the service is always attentive and friendly. Excellent quality food. Much better food than the other diner in New Providence. Can’t go wrong with the Old Glory!

Ordered a breakfast burrito, which was large and quite tasty, then i saw the size (and fluffiness) of the blueberry pancakes and was bummed that i didn’t order that . . . .

I have been dining here occasionally for years, these folks run a good diner. It is probably somewhat of a hidden gem, and one of the better diner experiences, in the immediate area.
The food is great and the service is very good as well. The atmosphere is fine and the location is good with easy parking. Pricing is reasonable.
They are nice, friendly, people, so the overall experience is very good.

Ordered a gigantic breakfast burrito with home fries. I actually liked this one better than the one from committed pig. I just wish it came with a side of pico or salsa. I also wished that either the online menu or server let you know it already came with home fries… I ended up ordering a side for no reason.

Old Glory is a terrific diner in the heart of New Prividence. It has a cozy atmosphere, a kind and helpful staff and super tasty comfort food. My 90 year old dad loves this place and we go often for all day breakfast or an easy lunch. The portions are generous, the crispy bacon is always perfectly crisp and the prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend!
