Minimum menu options. Very low key place on water. Rum punch was good but did not taste any alcohol in it. Perch was a bit too dry and sauce was not good. Pretzels were good. Does seem more of a drink by the river place not really place for dinner. Beach across street is nice found some beach glass

We had a great Sunday afternoon lunch here. We sat up top in the Captain’s Perch, having been told by staff that it was cooler upstairs due to the breeze. Our server was right, it was nice and cool, though very sunny.
The tables had nice swivel-y stools so you could take in all the views of the canal, lake, lighthouse. Fun people-watching.
My husband’s fresh lemonade was delicious and well-balanced, obviously fresh, ice cold. I don’t normally like lemonade but this was perfect.
Hubby was pleased with his perch sandwich and fries. I enjoyed perch tacos served with really good tortilla chips.
We love places like this. We’ve been here at night for apps and cocktails, also very fun. They had live music last night, we noticed.

We stumbled upon this little gem today on a girls day out. I loved the perch dinner with the homemade tartar sauce. Perfection! Views were beautiful of the frozen lake. Service was amazing! We enjoyed our time here today!! We will be back in the warmer weather!

Good place to have a drink and sit on the water. Had a great selection of bottle and can craft beers. Pricing wasn’t too bad either. We paid $5.00 per bottle for Great Lakes beer. Very cool patio to sit at also.

Location is the key here and right on the water and boardwalk. I never did see a sign with the name on it. Views galore. Had the perch sandwich with 2 tiny pieces of perch needed 3 to cover the bun and beer. A frosted glass would have been a plus. Justin Bieber stopped here in 2016 to hang out. The owner was sweet, kind, and attentive.

We didn’t know this place had an indoor option. It was a great find for winter fun by the lake. We only had drinks but they do have a food menu. It’s a small little space but they have monthly drink specials to try for a fun little day adventure.

Had the perch sandwich, shrimp, mozzarella sticks. All were fantastic. The cole slaw was amazing. And the tartar sauce was killer. Their fresh squeezed lemonade was super tasty. Definitely coming back. And while you’re there, check out the lighthouse.

No question about it, if you want the best lake view this side of town, you have to come to the Old Fish House and head up to the upper deck. Great place for the Shipface Bloody Mary and a million dollar view. Super friendly people working here, too.

Very low key casual place. Seems like more of a drinking place w minimum of food options. It’s kind of a diy service situation. You order at the bar. Or they might come to your table. A server took our order and the food was brought by another person and we never saw a server or anyone approach our table again. They tout they have fresh squeezed lemonade. Big sign hanging over the bar. We both ordered that and it had a strong chemical taste like a cleaning liquid. I had a cup of water to see if maybe the water was funky. Nope. The water was fine. I understand running out of staff or product, but you ought to warn the patron if substitutions were made.
If you want a very casual place to drink and soak up the sun, this place might be for you.

This place had a cool “dive bar on the lake” vibe going. Reasonably priced drinks and food, good beers, and some tasty perch. Also, if you can grab one of the tables on top, or on the lake side of the lawn, you can’t beat the view!
