Great little coffee and dessert spot dowtown. With in walking distance to everything. We ordered espresso, caramel latte, tiramisu, oatmeal bar and crème brûlée. It was a busy evening so it took a while for the coffee, it the desserts were very good and fresh. The Crème Brûlée was one of the best I’ve had. Very creamy with a thin layer of crunch at the top. Sometimes there’s such a thick layer it over powers the custard. Not here, very well balanced. And it had real vanilla beans! That’s when you know you have real crème brûlée. The oatmeal bar tasted just like my Moms. With so many coffee joints downtown, I think this place has the best desserts.

The reviews were great and they had gluten-free options so my daughter selected it for a few birthday treats. The presentation of the desserts was great so we ordered several items and were seated. The water in the flower arrangements at the table was very cloudy and there were notes left to customers about how long they could sit. It wasn’t very inviting.
I didn’t enjoy any of the desserts. They were bland in flavor, missing the right amount of sweetness, and a few items tasted a little sour. We each took a bite or two then threw all of the items away. I wouldn’t recommend this location nor would I return. Having thoroughly enjoyed my visit to Europe, this place evokes none of its essence.

Not very well lit however the staff were nice!
There was not many allergen options for both dairy free and gluten free individuals which was a little bit of a bummer but still worth checking out! If you are just gluten free this place is definitely worth checking out!

We were walking back to our car after lunch, and my wife remembered she’s been wanting to stop here and try the coffee. We were greeted and gave our order: a tiramisu for two, cappuccino for her, and a latte for me.

Our dessert was ready in short order, everything was very good, we enjoyed our visit, and look forward to popping in again sometime soon.

My daughter and I have made it a tradition to come here every time we’re in Greenville together. The drinks I’ve had (cap, latte, chai) have all been delicious. The sandwiches are very tasty and the baked goods are delicious. It’s a cool little place, I recommend trying them out.

Old Europe is a cozy and charming spot with amazing desserts and coffee. The pastries are fresh, authentic, and beautifully made—especially the cakes and tortes. The coffee is rich and pairs perfectly with their sweets. The atmosphere feels warm and inviting, perfect for a casual meet-up or a quiet evening treat. A must-visit if you love European-style desserts in Greenville!

This place is great! I ordered the carrot cake, which was wonderful. They have many options that range from cake, cannolis, croissants, bread pudding, and much more.

Old Europe is a cute spot to sit and enjoy dessert in Greenville. The atmosphere has a nice charm, and it’s definitely a cozy place to relax with a sweet treat. I tried the cheesecake and cupcakes, which were good, but they felt like they were missing a little something to make them stand out. The staff also wasn’t particularly friendly, which took away from the overall experience a bit. Still, it’s worth a visit if you’re in the mood for dessert and want a pleasant place to sit for a while.

Great vibes, great coffee. The lemon Bavarian and lemon bar were both insanely good. Service was fast and good.

Old Europe Coffee and Dessert in Greenville is a charming spot with a welcoming vibe. The dessert we had was absolutely delicious—fresh, rich, and beautifully presented. The service was friendly and pleasant, adding to the overall relaxing atmosphere of the café. It’s a great place to unwind with a treat and a drink, whether you’re stopping in for a quick bite or lingering over coffee. The only reason for the four stars instead of five is that seating can be a bit limited during busy times. Still, it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in downtown Greenville!
