We went on Seafood Night (Friday). I can’t recommend the seafood. It was all fried, and I’m not a fan of anyone’s fried seafood. However, the ham was outstanding! The salad bar was ideal for my taste, and the vegetables were wonderful. The dessert bar was delicious! I had a small amount of almost everything!

I love the atmosphere, the people, the food and the wonderful things for sale at the restaurant. The food was so delicious plus all of the ladies working hard in the kitchen were constantly filling the buffet when the food was low or almost empty. Make sure to try their homemade breads with jams. Oh and make sure you leave some room for the delicious creamy homemade vanilla ice cream, pudding truufle, cakes, chocolate dump cake, apple crisp and fruit cobblers!!! Everything and everyone were just wonderful. May the People who own & work there Be Blessed Abundantly and May Our Heavenly Father continually shower their Families with many, many Blessings!!

Incredible food!!! Incredible selection!!! They even had REAL homemade ice cream!!! I was stuffed to the gills!! Never even made it to the salad bar!!! Their Coconut Cake was epic!!! Tasted just like my dad’s. Then they have a section where you can buy jellies and jams and lots of other things. I am definitely going back very soon.

This has been my favorite place for several years and absolutely fabulous, however I must be honest and fair on our recent visit. Fried tomatoes old, meat old, several items missing on bar, no ice cream in container, hot in there and never asked for tea refill. Bad night? Everybody has one don’t judge this place one this one visit they are normally over and above all the way around but price is a little steep for less than 100%

I was really excited to try this place & also really wanted to love it. After reading all the good reviews, I figured it was definitely worth a try. I am absolutely not one to complain due to working in restaurants & food service for most of my life, but for the price we paid, I expected a much better experience than the one we had. I’m not sure if it was just an off night, but it was not a very good dining experience. We got there a little after 5pm on a Thursday evening & they open at 4pm. Just about every single item on their buffet was cold & looked as if it had been sitting out all day. I don’t understand how that could happen considering they just opened an hour prior to our arrival & it wasn’t busy at all. I’m assuming this is why you’re required to pay up front as soon as you walk in prior to viewing the buffet. Several of the items, including the mashed potatoes & meat loaf, appeared to be so old & overcooked that a brown/black crust had developed on the top & around the sides of pans they were in. The bottom of the inside of the meatloaf plan was burnt black with the meat stuck to the bottom an inch or so thick. The other food honestly didn’t taste terrible & probably would be delicious fresh, but it was all so cold & tasted old. The salad bar was a mess. It really made me question how sanitary this place was. The food also wasn’t labeled, & many items were so over cooked it was hard to tell what each item was. Like I said, I really wanted to love this place. I was very excited to try it, but maybe this was just a bad night to go.

Some food looked like it was from the day before. Nothing was real hot. Some food was dried out or either cooked too long. Fried green tomatoes were hard. First time there for me and kept thinking I can get better food in my home town. Not worth the drive.

Great food, service, and people. Always great, but Friday after 4pm they also have seafood on the buffet in addition to all the normal favorites like ham, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn, okra, fried green tomatoes, dressing, green beans, and on and on….. plus you can’t go wrong with homemade ice cream and deserts. That’s if you remember to save room. Give them a try your only regret is you are just now finding them.
