I grew up in Omaha, an old Chicago was part of our regular tour of restaurants to eat at. This is the first one I’ve eaten in the Denver area since being here for three years.
I didn’t see any manager on the floor and it was the server doing hosting and serving, which is not fair. Shame on management. She did a great job taking care of us. The food was made correctly tasted delicious. Good job.
To the management team, I remind you that the money is in the dining room not in the office. That’s where you need to be.

I absolutely love coming here, it is my favorite place to come grab a beer and a bite after work. Bri always brightens my day, and gives perfect service: she is there before I might start to need anything, but never crowds. Fast and friendly to both new customers and regulars. The rest of the staff are great too, never had a bad night here.

This is the best bar / restaurant in all of Lakewood hands down. Our server Bri was top notch, went out of her way to get the kids meals out right away as they were starving and even brought them a dish of ice cream for dessert as a surprise. The adults got to try a couple of samples of beers and we were indecisive on what beer to get and she was patient until we made our decision. Food was great and will be back to sit in her section again. Top Notch!

The service and speed delivery is greatly improved from where it was three years ago when we first started coming here. This restaurant has now become one of our go-to spots for weeknight dinners. Love the calzones. Service is great, food delivery speed is great, and the menu has a lot of variety.

I am going to start by saying that I loved the OC thick crust. So good! Then, the pepperoni rolls were the best part of dinner.
My husband ordered a classic pepperoni pizza and it was pretty good. However, I ordered a custom pizza with sundried tomatoes and they were totally burnt so I had to take them off the pizza – not the best experience. It was fine overall.

We ordered calzone and its taste was excellent, the girl who served us was super friendly and attentive. My beer was WeldWerks Kiwi Lime White Chocolate Sparkler, very refreshing and I loved the touch of chocolate.

My first experience was not good. I liked the atmosphere, but that’s about it. I decided on the pizza I wanted and tried ordering it. I was informed they were out of the two different sausages on it. I then listed four items I would like. I waited for some time to finally be brought out a calzone. I told him I didn’t order a calzone, but didn’t want to waste it so I would eat that. I then found that it didn’t even have the items I ordered. The calzone was not good. It was soggy on the inside and the flavor was bland. The only good thing with the food was the tots. To be fair, they did not charge me for the meal. Not sure I will try again.
UPDATE: went back for another try and it was much better. The waitress was nice but the food is still average at best.

I stopped in for a salad, pizza, and a beer. When I ordered the salad, I asked whether it came with olives since I’m allergic. They confirmed it didn’t, and soon I was enjoying a fresh, delicious salad.
Where I slipped up was not reading the ingredients on the Meat-Me Pizza—turns out it *does* have olives. When it arrived, I mentioned the issue, and Jacob, the bartender, immediately asked if I’d like a replacement. Fourteen minutes later, a brand‑new, olive‑free pizza was in front of me, and it was fantastic.
A lot of places would have just taken the pizza to the back, picked off the olives, and served it again. If that had happened, I’d probably be in the Emergency Department across the street instead of writing this review. Instead, they made a completely fresh Meat-Me pizza, and I genuinely appreciate that level of care.

I Love Old Chicago and had always been a staple in my life. Was always a trusted and reliable spot to take my family and friends to. Just moved into the area of this Old Chicago. Placed an order online for Salads and some pizza rolls while unpacking and moving in. Online quotes the food to be ready by 615 pm. I am still here still at 6 40 pm over 25 minutes past the quotes time. For mainly salads………I am just blown away and don’t understand. Unfortunately don’t think I will be frequenting this Old Chicago which is a bummer because of how close it is to my home. Fingers crossed I get my food, still waiting……..
32 minutes late I got my order. A sorry for the host. No offer of anything to make it right. A free drink a coupon to come back in. Unfortunately 0 customer service or training is done at this location. Also pretty sure I heard the manager out front outside of the restaurant. Clearly not walking the floor and managing this operation. Spending his time outside chatting away for several minutes.
Defiantely not coming back, and that breaks my heart.
