EDIT 2: We never received the refund for the discounts that Kayla said we would receive.
EDIT: Issue has been corrected by Kayla, thank you!
We come here often, food is good and it’s a cool place. But the service is always ok at best. They run a lot of specials, but you have to double check your receipt as they don’t honor them. Today’s special was half off wings, half off margaritas, half off fried pickles and we got charged the full amount for all three items. We just paid it to save ourselves the hassle since we had already asked them to correct it once and they didn’t. We also got charged 20% for a large party of 6 but we only had a party of 4. We like coming here but it’s becoming a headache every time.

We stopped in on a whim and man we were happy that we did, Old 181 Bar & Grill served up some very delicious comfort foods, we ordered steakburgers, chicken wings, fish & chips, and a hotdog that was prepared by the Chef Baldenar. We washed all these down with beers and sodas. I ordered a zombie which is a mix drink that is made from the combination of 7-10 liquors but had to settle for a 1/5 Zombie drink due to the fact that the bartender Kaylah had to stay within the legal limits of two shots per mix drink. Our servers were Brian and Audrey (I Dream of Jeannie) both who are very professional and friendly. We would definitely revisit Old 181 Bar & Grill next time we visit Floresville.

Went with my friends on a Friday night and it was so quiet, which was nice for us since we had the pool table area all to ourselves only. Drinks were a bit pricey, and the ATM had a SEVEN DOLLAR WITHDRAW FEE, but, we had a great time. On a more crowded night might’ve been more fun.

Food was just ok, a little pricey. We were a larger group and our food came out one person at a time. We asked if gratuity was on the check and was told no, just taxes and fees. Got our check and we were charged 20% gratuity per ticket. The waitress got that plus the tip we left on the table because she was less than honest. We will not be going back.

Cool new spot. I got there late (9:20) and the kitchen was closing, but they had a few things off the appetizer menu. Food was good enough. Some of the staff seemed to be working hard and some sat down most of the time I was there. Restaraunt was clean and organized. Outside area was well lit and will be fun when the weather improves.

We went for Kids Karaoke and had a blast! It was a great environment. The food was great…but the loaded fries were the best!! Our server, Beto, was quick and on top of everything. He was happy and upbeat! They are fantastic for kids. It was a little pricey but the atmosphere and the service made up for that! They definitely give a welcoming feeling to everyone.

Bacon cheddar fries were blah. Not much bacon (bits) or cheese (not chedder). Fries were cooked perfectly but toppings lacked. Entrance was a little confusing but once inside it is well put together and feels like a Friday night could be a blast here. Shiner Beer was ICE cold and that made up for the mediocre fry. Would definitely try again for the Smokehouse Burger

My husband and I visited for the first time. We got the sweet tea, mozzarella sticks, and pepperoni pizza. It was all delicious! I loved the crust for the pizza. Everyone was very sweet and welcoming too. We will definitely return!

Disappointed by the quality of food and drink for the price. If you like Philly Cheese steaks you’ll like eating here- they seem to use the bell peppers and steak they prep for the Philly Cheese steaks for everything else on the menu. I got a Beer Brat dog that came with peppers that tasted like a Philly (kitchen forgot the mustard on the dog, and the dog came with way too much bread for the brat), and my GF got a plate of loaded nachos with steak that tasted like a Philly. I understand trying to make the most of the ingredients you prep by using them in multiple dishes, but the seasoning and flavor doesn’t mesh well for every menu item (the menu is also pretty small). Beer selection is pretty limited, you’ll get what you could find at the beer tent of a country fair or small gas station. I got an Old Fashioned that barely had any whiskey in it and still paid 12.99 for it- same price I would pay at a much nicer bar for a much stronger drink. The atmosphere was more of a hole-in-the-wall bar than a restaurant. The place felt a little empty in the dining area in terms of actual decor and tables, but it looked like the outdoor seating area was nice. The entrance is a little hard to spot if it’s your first time going in. Maybe it would have been more enjoyable with live music, they have a small stage and dance area but no one was playing when I was there at 8PM on a Friday night. All in all, if you can drive 25min to the Den in La Vernia you’ll be getting a much better experience for about the same cost. Better food, better drink selection, better atmosphere.
