Everything was so fresh and the staff were all sweet and super welcoming! We both got burgers and tasted amazing. They had tons of beyond meat options as well. Pet friendly on the patio which was nice, even though he was being camera shy!!

First – the crepes are fantastic!

Great little cafe that has a good home made menu and an amazing location looking up at the towering Sierra Nevada. Recently expanded their dining area.

For the aviators, it’s an ideal location with a 1800’ long dirt airstrip out back, making this a fantastic and unique fly-to eatery. Call ahead for airstrip condition and status!

We had the Olancha cheese burger and fries. The fries were amazing. They were homemade and seasoned perfectly. The burgers were great and the portion size perfect – not giant like so many other restaurants. They had a good selection of local beers.

Great place to grab a bite, take a break, and use the bathroom.

Food was great and I had no complaints. Staff were super kind and welcoming. May take a minute to get your food, but that’s how you know it’s been made fresh. All around nice vibes would come through again.

Now that 395 doesn’t pass by here, it was a bit hard to find. Make sure to try the Olancha Burger. Plenty of adult beverages available in a refrigerated cooler behind the counter. Cool motif and plenty of outside seating. I’m glad I stopped to sample this cafe. Well worth the stop.

We were at lake Olancha RV park for the weekend and I must say this cafe was such a great spot for breakfast. Loved the potatoes and the omelette. Definitely recommend!

Enjoyable stop with some good vegetarian options as well. Possibly even made vegan if you ask.

Had a big burrito with some minced beyond meat inside and it was great. Tasty and very filling, as a burrito should be.

Owner was very friendly. Was about to leave for an errand when we arrive but decided to go back into the shop to serve and cook for us. Super nice.

The place itself is a restaurant at an RV ranch and has an awesome western vibe. Loved our short little visit here.

Wow, wow, wow! That’s right, my friends—culinary ecstasy awaits! The patty melt I devoured? Absolute FIRE, like a jazz band riffing in perfect harmony. And let’s not overlook the wife’s breakfast—it was a galactic voyage of flavor, out of this world and back again!

Oh, but the burgers—dear heavens above!—crafted on a grill so hot it must’ve been borrowed from Vulcan’s forge, and the result? Dynamite explosions of juicy, mouthwatering, unrelenting deliciousness!

So, take the leap, veer off the highway, and treat yourself to this hidden treasure trove of gastronomic joy. You’ll thank me later. Cheers to flavor, baby!

Charming place full of character, basic diner food that isn’t so basic. Very warm, cozy Cafe. Prices are reasonable, service is good, and the fries we had were perfectly fried. My quesadilla was yummy and the hot water for my tea was Super hot, not just Luke warm.
There are lots of little things you can look at to shop and buy while you wait for your food. While it was chilly outside, it was nice to be in a warm Cafe where you can hear the cook/owner singing away to the radio as he made our food. 🙂
