Incredibly amazing. One of the best sushi in the town. Take a note regarding their Wagiu dishes. Nice wine by Glases. Viktor provide the best service and is very involved in his business.

Ps. Wasabi is great!

New spot that I visited with two of my colleagues for a business dinner. It was a bit crowded and a bit casual for my liking, but I will tell you the food was delicious. I have had sushi all over the world and this place was no exception. It was very good. We’d ordered a dragon roll. A rainbow roll spicy tuna roll and quite a few other dishes and each one was very tasty. I would say it was a bit confusing the way they presented the sushi because we were sitting with someone who was allergic to shellfish and they put the rolls too close to ones that had selfish. That was the only complaint. I’d go back here again.

Fantastic food in a cozy setting. Will come back for sure. No way better to have a Japanese style diner. Once you go Okoz, you’ll never try another sushi bar. Very friendly service. I really enjoyed our meal at our special occasion. Thanks a lot team Okoz !!!

I rarely ever leave negative reviews — in fact, this is the very first time. I usually try to see the good side of things, but unfortunately, this experience left me with real disappointment.

We had a reservation at 8pm, and from the very beginning, things felt off. We waited 15 minutes just to receive the menus, which was already unusual. Later, after ordering one starter and two main courses, only one main course was brought to the table. At first we thought the second dish was simply delayed, but after another 15 minutes we asked, only to be told (after yet another wait) that the server had misunderstood and thought we had ordered only one dish. Mistakes happen — that’s not the problem. What shocked me is how it was handled afterwards.

When we asked if they could still prepare the missing main, we were told it would take 20 minutes — which we accepted without issue. But then, the chef decided it was no longer possible since it was “the end of service.” So we were left with one starter and one main to share between two people, as if this was completely normal. No alternative offered, no gesture of goodwill, no real apology — simply the suggestion that nothing could be done.

It is such a shame, because the food itself was very good, truly high quality. But the way the situation was managed was baffling, and it felt as if the responsibility was quietly shifted onto us. To sit in a restaurant, pay, and leave with half a meal is an experience I never imagined possible.

A restaurant can make mistakes, but what defines its value is how those mistakes are handled. Here, unfortunately, the answer was: not at all. And for that reason, I will not be returning.

Super nice people and calm but lively atmosphere (autistic people will definitely enjoy it). I liked the food, it’s a little bit on expensive side but nothing too crazy and it’s definitely worth it.bYou’ll definitely have an awesome experience, interesting new flavors, great service and chefs are open to opinions and whole staff have great sense of humor 🙂 i will definitely come back to try some more food!
Also when i came in i got free spicy tuna bite.
The flavors are very strong so i would advise to get matcha (and wait with it until food come) to counter it. It goes well together 😀

Our journey to Okoz was driven by the craving for their Wagyu-Beef Burgers Luckily, we secured a table on a Saturday evening without making a reservation.

The atmosphere in the restaurant was decent, not overly remarkable, but it met the mark. The furniture was tasteful and simple, although the limited space between tables didn’t exactly set the stage for an intimate dining affair. Due to the open kitchen concept there was a faint scent of food in the whole restaurant. This did not bother us, but there was a subtle aroma on our jackets after the visit.

The service staff was very attentive and stealthy attended to every need. We felt well taken care of.

Now, to the star of the evening: the burger. My wife had the Mount Fuji and I chose the Tsukimi Burger along with the Volcano Fries. Both burgers proved to be exceptional, creating a delightful symphony of flavours. I’ve never encountered a burger with such finely tuned taste before.

Despite the minor setbacks in the atmosphere, we can definitely recommend the place.

I went back when it first opened and now some years later. I didnt like their okonomiyaki, but now it seems they changed up their concept and also included sushi and other dishes. So i gave it another try.

Its still really a restaurant that focusses on the looks of the dishes. But the taste is still great. So it means they probably changed their chef. Because I had the unagi handroll and the steamed buns. And all tasted really great.

I will be back a next time to try the okonomiyaki again and other dishes.

Great to get to eat okonomaki again after trying in Japan.

They also did a vegetarian version, off menu, for my wife which was great.

We also enjoyed the cold house Sake, and sweet apple gyoza for dessert.

Friendly service. Definitely one you need to book for.
