The self order kiosk was a little slow but it worked. The kiosk couldn’t take the coupon, so we had to go up to the cashier as well.
The food was good. I like the mix of starch, protein, and veggies. Personally, I’m not a big fan of American slicer cucumbers with skin because the skin is too thick for my taste. The garlic rice was good, though we wished it was served warmer.
We got the Hawaiian and Lemongrass curated bowls with chicken and pineapple fish sauce. My husband got the Hawaiian and the macaroni salad was unusual and seems more Japanese to me than Hawaiian. I enjoyed my Lemongrass bowl.
We would go back again.
When you enter you head to the kiosk and place your order. It’s pretty intuitive. You can also sign up for their rewards program. Once you place your order, they bring the food to you and you can either sit down or take it home. Unless I’m tripping, I think the default order type is takeout even though there are tables and chairs (though slightly uncomfortable) that you can sit at and eat. Very chill and not too loud. Music in the background but not so loud you can hear your friends or partner while you eat.

Overall it was worth the drive and definitely made my Saturday that much more enjoyable.
I was blown away by the taste. The mac n cheese, the veggies, chicken as soft as idk, really soft!!
This is a must try place. Its small and cozy and I saw 2 people working there. The sauces are also to die for. Bang Bang Sauce is a banger!
The bowl in picture is an Hawaiian-ish Bowl. They have other varities too! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
I ordered a custom bowl with garlic rice, lemon grass chicken, pineapple fish sauce, caramelized onions, pickled veggies, corn salsa, cucumbers, lettuce, crushed peanuts, and garlic chips. My husband also got a custom bowl but with Korean chicken. For only $15, it was such a great deal! Our bowls were made to order with freshly grilled chicken and they were LOADED. Loved the amount of protein and toppings they gave us. Both bowls were SUPER flavorful and so tasty!
Service was great; the worker provided us with recommendations and he was very friendly. 10/10 recommend and will definitely be back soon!
One small suggestion would be cutting the cucumbers a bit smaller/thinner in the dishes. Also, the dining room felt a little quiet and empty when we visited.. maybe some background music or small touches to brighten the atmosphere would help make it feel more inviting. It seems like the restaurant may focus more on takeout/delivery, which might explain it. I’m hoping they continue improving because I’d love to see them succeed.
The customer service is just as impressive. The staff are warm, pleasant, and always willing to offer great recommendations based on what you’re in the mood for. Their friendliness and attention make the whole dining experience feel welcoming and enjoyable.
Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for great food and genuinely great service!
The Food: I had to try the Korean Chicken bowl + Garlic Fried Rice. All the toppings looked so good, but I only got the ones that I frequently eat. I had to add the mac salad to my bowl as well. The food looked hot nd fresh as well, which is a plus. Overall, all the ingredients and toppings were cooked well with full of flavor! And they pack the bowl nicely and generously too!
The Service: Service was great! Was greeted by staff and they were all friendly and welcoming. Service was pretty fast when I was there, so no long wait times.
The Atmosphere: Plenty of seating inside. The space is nice and clean. No complaints.
Overall, a 5/5! Highly recommend Okonomi, I’ll be back again for sure
