Super small hole in the wall type restaurant. It only has one table inside. Woman at front is very friendly and her kids are super nice and can ring you up too. Food is delicious. I got the lucky lady!

Everyone local has good things to say, I’m local and I’ve tried this place several times and I’m not impressed. Maybe I’m not ordering the right menu items.
See photos attached but today I ordered chicken yaki soba and added and paid for extra chicken because the last time there was minimum protein in my order. Even with paying for extra, I had to look closely to find the bits of chicken. The noodles are however pretty good if you don’t expect anything to go with them.
I’m a crab ragoon fan and I knew going in that these aren’t that impressive but still okay, today unfortunately most of the filling had cooked out making them a what’s the point of even eating them kind of thing.
Yakitori (chicken on a stick) was over cooked so long, it was hard and tore the roof of my mouth. Fun.
The teriyaki sauce is delicious but will run you $1 for a small souffle cup.

I ordered the crab Rangoon and shrimp hibachi with no rice, extra veggies, and a salad with ginger dressing. Crab Rangoon was super fresh. The shrimp were nice and big. There was a nice variety of veggies, all cooked just right. Their yum-yum sauce is really good, too. Not too sweet, not too savory. The prices are very reasonable and there is definitely enough food to fill you up. I look forward to eating there again if I’m ever back in the area.

I don’t know if they got a new owner or what, but this place has turned into one of my favorite Havelock joints. Their sushi is made well-great rice with just enough sourness, decent fish, and the right size. I have had a hard time finding noodles that taste like what you can find in California, but this place does it. The best noodles I’ve had in this area. Everything since they changed the menu has been fantastic.

We came because of the review saying not to judge the exterior and the food is great. Very true. I got hibachi shrimp and I highly recommend for someone not from here to get something similar to Japanese restaurants back home. Vegetables, rice, and meat were cooked well and have a very good taste. Only thing I didn’t like was the soup that comes with it. Loved the staff. One table inside you can sit at, but it’s still considered takeout.

Ordered take out from here and not even 2 minutes into eating my husband pulled a hair out of his mouth from the bite he just taken.
Called the establishment to tell them and then was repeatedly asked where I ordered the food from (it was from their website) then was told to bring it back for them to remake the food?? No, we ordered take out for a reason and not to have to drive 20-30 minutes back to the restaurant. Never again.

Ordered curry chicken through Uber Eats. Pretty sure they gave me pork. It seems like a Tv dinner…frozen vegetables, overcooked rice…meat seems like it came prepackaged/pre breaded.

Omg!! I just moved to Havelock from Newport and we ordered from here….I am so excited!! This hibachi is fantastic! Just as good as any expensive hibachi restaurant. Delivery was pretty fast too. We ordered it two nights in a row We ordered a shrimp and steak and mixed the dishes. The shrimp were big and plump and the steak was delicious. The veggies are fantastic too! Definitely our new favorite place!
