Okinawa Teriyaki is a consistently solid and reliable spot for a great meal, especially if you’re working or spending time downtown. The food is always fresh, well prepared, and served quickly, which makes it an easy go-to when you want something satisfying without a long wait.

My favorite order is the spicy chicken teriyaki with gyoza and salad, and it never disappoints. The chicken is flavorful and perfectly cooked, the sauce has just the right amount of heat, and the portion size is generous. The gyoza are tasty and crispy, and the salad is a nice, fresh balance to the meal. It’s the kind of combo that keeps you coming back again and again.

The location is another big plus. It’s conveniently close to downtown offices and just steps from the Seattle waterfront, making it a great option for lunch breaks or a casual bite while exploring the area.

What really stands out, though, is the people. The staff and owners are always incredibly friendly and welcoming, and you can tell they take pride in their food and service. Overall, Okinawa Teriyaki is a dependable favorite with good food, great service, and a prime location. Highly recommended.

I have been craving Seattle style teriyaki for 25 years. (I lived in Seattle from 2001-2003) And I finally made it back to Seattle with my family this time. Okinawa Teriyaki was close to where we were down town, we walked from Pike Place Market. Very friendly service, and the teriyaki was just as I remembered it! So delicious! Thanks so much for the food and letting me share this memory with my wife and children!

Probably one of my favorite teriyaki restaurants in Seattle! It does get busy during the lunch hour, but the staff is great at getting orders out quickly so you don’t have to wait too long. The owners are really nice too.

My go-to order is the spicy chicken and gyoza combo…it’s delicious and the salad is a great complement to the meal. Parking can be a bit difficult since it’s in downtown and all street parking, but despite that, I highly recommend this place!!! Definitely give them a try!!!

Okinawa Teriyaki is one of my favorite weekday lunch spots in downtown. The staff is always friendly and the food is consistently delicious. My go-to is the chicken and gyoza meal, which comes with rice and salad. The portions are large enough to split into multiple meals. If you’re visiting Seattle or work nearby, Okinawa is worth a visit!

Chicken was DRY and RUBBERY and the rice was MUSH. The salad was SPOILED and ROTTEN. Overall grossed out and disappointed – do not come here unless you want to be overcharged for mediocre food and risk food poisoning. Service was also not the best – I ordered 4 meals to go for my family and requested to have each packed in their own plastic bag for when I drop the meals off. The waitress said she would need to charge extra for the bags (even though she had already packed 2 separate bags and the order total was over $80). Unfortunately, due to the restaurant’s location there will also be questionable people that frequent this place. I would not recommend family’s/children to go here.

The food was excellent. I ordered the chicken bowl and my husband order the pork teriyaki. The portions were generous and the prices low. It’s was clean with friendly customer service. Be prepared to pay an arm and your first born for parking.

Okinawa is new to me somehow despite working within a few blocks for 4 years now, but a treat on occasion. The teriyaki is respectable and they serve up these dishes with a machine like efficiency and friendly but brisk service. They do the basics right, which is what you hope for in a teriyaki joint. I want some char on the chicken and the sauce not overly sweet and starved, and theirs hits the spot. These are downtown teriyaki prices and tip expectations, so it’s $22 per person total for lunch which is crazy but hey I’m happy to support local when I can afford it. Chicken and gyoza combo best bang for my buck so far.

Delicious food. My teenager did a subconscious happy dance while eating the chicken teriyaki. We will definitely be back! Portion size is good too. The restaurant is a clean and easy to find spot for good food. Large drink selection. People working there were really friendly.

The chicken was good but the sauce was not. Teriyaki chicken is all about the sauce, this was watery and low on flavor. 3 dollars to make white rice fried rice is unreasonable, even is Seattle. And closing at 5pm on a Saturday because of a football game at 8pm made me regret spending my money here.
