A very interesting place. Both exterior and interior design/setup shares an oriental experience. They have a small Koi pond up front by the entrance that is very resembling of Far East vibes. Inside is no different, lots of wood furniture along with bamboo dividers between dining area sections.
Food is delicious as well. I’ve been here a few times already in different instances, with family and co-workers as well. I really like their lunch box menu options. They’re simple and also priced well for their portion sizes. Although some of my co-workers don’t think that their portions are adequate for their prices. Regardless of the case I personally really like their lunch menu options.
Now onto the “not so positive” matters, if you will. I think their service is on the slower side even when there’s hardly anyone on the floor. There were only two other tables occupied and it still took the waitress more than 10 minutes to provide our check, which was a little annoying because we were rushing to leave to get back to work after our lunch break. Another complaint is about their pricing on their “non-lunch menu” options. Just for two people at their lunch hours we ended up paying $50 after only ordering two lunch-box orders with sushi appetizer and two glasses of water. Our appetizer cost more than our actual lunch plate. As much as I like their food but their traditional menu prices are very high for their plates. Thus, while I like coming here for lunch I wouldn’t visit it for dinner because it would be hard to justify the final tab.

Man where do I start. We walked in and immediate got greeted by the sweetest lady. I didn’t get her name but I think she might have been one of the managers. Service was great. The drink I got was great. Food was also really good, definitely recommend the volcano roll. I’m not from the area but if I was. This would be a regular spot for me.

Ok. So we’ve been going to this restaurant for over 15 years. We found it when we first moved to the area, and my kids spent almost every birthday dinner since they were 10 and 12 (they’re 25 and 27 now), eating here. The food has always been amazing. Tonight however…my husband and I BOTH agreed it has changed…and NOT for the better. The rice was flavorless…and missing the veggies it used to have in it. To be honest…it was just gross. The steak was also flavorless and not even seared like usual. Cut into huge chunks with no seasoning. I had the salmon which is usually AMAZING. IT WASN’T COOKED ENOUGH. I know it shouldn’t be dry but this was still raw. Also cooked with shredded onions and carrots…what? WHY? YUCK! And again…ZERO seasoning…no lemon or butter or anything. The chicken was rubbery and…yup, you guessed it, NO SEASONINGS! And we used to LOVE their yum yum sauce!!! It was HORRIBLE. No taste, barely any sweetness. Just NOT the usual SAUCE!! AND no…we don’t have any issues tasting food.
This makes me extremely sad because we LOVED coming here to eat!!! We KNOW the flavors by HEART! THEY WERE A-MAZING!! THIS time, I didn’t even eat my rice. We didn’t even bring any of the leftovers home.
We asked if our favorite cook was there, they told us he was, but the cook we got was not him. Maybe it was the cook that made it terrible, I don’t know. But when the food LOOKS and TASTES different from the quality of food they used to serve, I’d say someone messed with what was working.
I was so curious as to what happened, I even looked on the county property appraiser website, to see if it had switched owners. But nope! I will say the service was very good. Friendly and quick. Which it has always been. But not sure if the service is worth the disappointment with the food. If you’re reading this…PLEASE bring back the food you used to have. If Hiro is still there, he can show you HOW it should be. He’s the BEST. If not…you’ve lost some faithful customers forever.

We’ve been going here since they used to do appetizer/hibachi/ ice cream back in 2019. We love this place. The noodles are our favorite and we love that you never get cheated on food for the price. I hope they stay open forever.

We always enjoy eating at Okinawa because of the exciting Hibachi, delicious food, and friendly staff. My son was very excited to spend his birthday there and was surprised by the birthday song and fruit. The sushi is great, too, and I always enjoy trying a different roll when dining at Okinawa. P.S. I’ve eaten at this restaurant since I was a kid, and it has always been great. It’s awesome to now celebrate there with my own kids.

Place was not great overall, service was below subpar and the auto gratuity for any party size is unacceptable for a restaurant of that stature. Portion sizes were not worth the $130 for a small appetizer and two basic habachi courses. Will not be going back and I do not suggest you go either. But there is a better habachi place in Navarre where the staff actually go above and beyond.

The kids loved it. We did sit in front of the grill and the cook did all the tricks for the kids like the onion volcano, the fire, catch the rice, egg toss etc, and was funny and very good with the kids. You do have the option to just sit at a table instead of at the grill if you like. It is kinda pricey, but it was worth it to us because the kids loved it and were occupied the whole time watching the cook, the food was great, and so was the service.

Went for my nephew’s birthday and was very pleased. The staff was wonderful and had us all engaged while the chef was cooking. The food was so delicious and cooked exactly how we asked for it to be. If you have not been here you should definitely try it. It’s a very relaxed and laid back atmosphere.

This is what the $34 of the “combination” meal gets you. Definitely not worth the price. Plus, they add an automatic 18% gratuity even if you’re sitting at a dining table and not getting the hibachi experience. The service was fine, but the food is not worth the price. I spent over $120 for 3 people during lunch and we all left hungry.
