This small sushi spot in the 7-11 center is a local gem putting out great quality fish and creations at reasonable prices for the area. You can sit at the bar or tables and they also do a brisk take out business. They have some of the best original rolls loaded with fish and a great variety. Some of my favorites are 911, fire roll, they do a great crispy rice, and the standard sushi and sashimi is as fresh and delish as anywhere. The owner and other chef have been there forever holding down Oki Doki and we appreciate this spot.

I was so impressed by this hidden gem. Some of the best sushi I’ve ever had. Very unique rolls paired alongside classics. Incredible presentation. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. I highly recommend the Orange Crush Roll with their signature Snowcone sauce!

Bummer – wanted to like this place because of all the positive reviews! Ordered through Uber eats and the cut of the one of nigiri was fatty and stringy, another two pieces were dry & and a little hard on the outsides. It just didn’t feel the most fresh, the way good fish can “melt in your mouth” so I didn’t finish it from feeling a bit grossed out. My guess from the reviews is that perhaps they’re better known for their roles than the nigiri? I’ve never seen nigiri sliced the way they did it either.

Was looking for a Friyay dinner around Hermosa Beach and found Oki Doki (catchy name). Was a pleasent surprise, cozy atmosphere since this was our first visit. Place had many revolving patrons…hence a good sign for good sushi. We also had a japanese couple sat next to us who gave thumbs up since they didnt speak english.
Point to make best sushi we had so far in SoCal. Recommended place to visit and we had the house special.

Very good sushi restaurant. Good size fish portions, great presentation, and of course, very tasty. The rolls were large, the sushi fish-to-rice ratio is excellent, and the combo/Bento box was plentiful and filling. The price was reasonable as well.
