After sleeping in after my evening workout, I ventured out of my hotel room for some “restaurants near me”, but the majority closed their kitchens an hour prior to closing and one didn’t even serve dinner although Google advertised that they did. Ms. Carrie came to the rescue and didn’t even rush me out after they closed their doors at 10pm. And the plus, their food was the best so far!

Every time someone encounters on coming to Oak Key’s, there’s always capacity but never capacity throughout the day only capacity at 2 AM when black individuals are present. Will the Manager / Owner inforces this unlawful behavior by allowing to discriminate who is allowed in at certain times ! A Night at O’Keefe’s: Where Ribs Take Center Stage and White Bread Steals the Show
Imagine this: a nondescript evening turns into a culinary roller coaster, much like a high-society gala where Aunt Mildred’s pearls turn out to be fake, but her scandalous affairs are all too real. O’Keefe’s, the enigmatic outdoor dining venue, beckons the gastronomically adventurous to its fold.
As I sauntered in, I was greeted—well, eventually—by a chef whose thousand-yard stare could rival any overcommitted debutante questioning her engagement. Ah, the beauty of an artist lost in existential thought; I felt right at home.
Ordering ribs seemed like a safe bet—until it wasn’t. Was the meat good? Yes. Four out of five stars, if one must quantify culinary prowess. But as anyone who has walked into a gala wearing last season’s couture knows, good just doesn’t cut it when you can do better yourself. I guess that would be a matter of opinion too. So, who knows the truth? Not I, so, I too must try harder.
And speaking of doing better, the sauce! Ah, that sauce—a Venegas-inspired creation, perhaps? It was as enigmatic as a dowager countess with a dubious past. The chef might have been contemplating his life choices, but his sauce had already made its choice—to be the belle of the ball.
Yet, the night’s most tantalizing surprise was a slice of plain white bread. Much like a debutante with a secret talent for pole vaulting, this bread flew under the radar, only to dazzle when dipped in that mysterious sauce. The combination was the gastronomic coup de maître of the evening.
Would I return to O’Keefe’s? Yes, but with the bar set sky-high by a single piece of bread, the chef has his work cut out for him. Can he deliver a dish that elicits an “Oh my gosh, I can’t do that at home?” Only time, and perhaps another contemplative gaze into the abyss, will tell.
So, the next time you’re craving an adventure in the form of meat and sauce, consider O’Keefe’s. Just be prepared for a humble slice of bread to upstage the main act. After all, isn’t that just like life among the upper crust?

Used to come here to close out night, but after last couple experiences, no thanks. Particular last one where last call 45 minutes early, timing is no big deal, but I go up immediately and am told shots only, no other drinks with max attitude. They let few bad patrons effect their attitude and service to everyone else and left bad taste in our mouths. Without drinks, we were also told everyone had to leave 30 min early and wait outside in freezing cold waiting for uber while they let friends hang out inside no problem. Pretty much avoiding this place now because of it.

They have a large selection of beer. IPA’s logger’s stouts. They even have a few slots, but not overrun with them.
They keep all my favorites.
And constantly bring it in new flavors and vendors. To get a chance, definitely check it out.
