It was our first time here. The place is decent and clean. It was somewhat difficult to communicate with the staff but thankfully we had a friend who was able to communicate with them. Some food items were really good and some were too spicy for me. The chicken stir fry was nice and spicy. Fried tofu was the best for me. Crab Rangoon lacked the actual stuffing. Fried rice was great. We Laos ordered udon noodles on side with mapo tofu. Noodles were good but mapo tofu spice level made me sick. I’ll try this place once again cuz it was recommended by a friend before I give my final review. Overall it was okay

I am giving 3 stars because the food and atmosphere are good but the service was horrible. We were also surprised that this restaurant, which is on the higher price side, charges separately for white rice when ordering main dishes. None of the other Chinese restaurants in this area charge extra for rice when ordering main dishes, particularly at this price range. It made the overall experience feel less customer-friendly. The food was decent, but for the price point, we expected better value. Unfortunately, this made the experience disappointing.

They don’t even deserve 1 star. I walked into the restaurant at 8:42pm , F… !! drove 30 minutes to eat here. The lady sat me down right away and within 2 minutes she got my water. After 5 minutes waiting at the table few people came in and she sat them down, brought their drinks right away. I kept waiting and right by 9:00pm that young lady went at took their order , not minie. So I said well probably bcse they are sitting right by the kitchen so I will be next I thought . Nope she walked away and did her things, right at 9:05pm she brought the food to the people who walked into the restaurant. The older lady asked her about me I guess as I am observing what is happening. So the young lady told her I guess to take my order because then the older lady approached me to take my order. I told the older lady that I was waiting for this long and the younger lady decided to take the other people order who came after me ? The old lady apologized in behalf of the younger one and I told her “you don’t have to apologize for her mistake and I need to speak to her” so the younger lady lady came to take my order and I told her “ I been waiting at the table for more than 10 minutes , the other people walked in after 5 minutes and you decided to take their order but you skip me “ the young lady said “I was busy so I told the other lady who is new to take your order “ then I said to the young lady “ it is humiliating and such an insult that you went and go ahead and took an order who came later than me and you skip me ? I don’t want to eat here bcse this is so insulting” ( other costumers noticed that I was sitting by myself and took that long)
The young lady didn’t even had the courtesy to apologize!!!!
I have eaten here before many time and never ever I have even been insulted that way. I will not come back even if they offer me free food.

I absolutely love Szechuan food. And I must say, this place lives up to it’s name. Every. Single. Thing. Was a MASTERPIECE! Sorry, that was corny. BUT it was true. It takes a lot for me to leave the perimeter, so I was a little nervous about this place, but I took the advice of friends of friends and went some pals, AND I’M GLAD I DID.
Must haves: crispy pork (eat this WITH the radish slices), Zhong Style Dumplings, garlic eggplant.

I have zero idea why there are so many bad reviews for this place. We live in Seattle where we get some of the best Chinese food in the states. We went and it was extraordinary! Food was amazing, service was great portions were MASSIVE. Highly recommend this place. Can’t wait to go back except this time with more people!

I really wanted to give this place a solid 4 stars. The food was delicious, and authentic Szechuan recipes, which didn’t contain a plethora of salt – like some other restaurants. The portions for each dish were enough to share . The prices were right at what I would expect for the neighborhood . Though, the wine per glass was priced slightly high in my opinion. The atmosphere is clean and laid out very nicely. The bathrooms are clean, and there is plenty of space for wheel chair accessibility. There is also ample parking all around the perimeter of the restaurant. The reason I could not in good conscience give this place 4 stars is because the customer service was not good. After ordering our food. No one checked to see if we were ok or if we wanted anything else. I had to flag the waitress down to request lemon wedges for my order. When we were done eating, we were met with the bill and absolutely no hospitality. The waitress never even said thank you for the tip. As much as I enjoyed the food, I value good customer service, and for this reason, I will not be returning to this establishment.

This, to me, is one of the finest schezwan restaurants in Atlanta. All of the dishes I’ve had so far to die for. But we especially love the fried eggplant, and the fish hot pot (broth base).

It was our first time and will be the last time. We ordered five dinner dishes. Except for the fried rice we could not eat as all four dishes were extremely salty and over seasoned. We have dined at Masterpiece on Buford Hwy location and food has always been exceptional. The server noticed and asked why we did not eat our food. When I explained how incredibly salty they were she said we were the ones who were too sensitive. The server did not attempt to find out whether the food was as bad as I described them to be. We left all the food behind. I even paid in full including her tip despite. I do NOT recommend this restaurant.

It was so nice to sit down for a great meal where there was not a lot of yelling or loud music!
The food was outstanding…the service was tremendous and friendly!
The serving size was good…..a little pricey for the full meal but great for the lunch specials, but smaller servings.
The band many different selections on the menu….. something for everyone!
We will be visiting again !

Place, Food quality and Vibe are good. Spice levels of their food is perfect. They have wide range of options for both vegetarians and meat lovers. This is an authentic Chinese restaurant.
Chicken w red peppers, fried shrimp, masterpiece fried chicken and egg plant with egg yolk are a must try! Only thing is the quantity of the food may not match the price.
