This place is a little hidden gem! The food was fresh and hot and customer service was great. The portions for the fried rice are on the larger side but can be shared between two people or taken as leftovers. The restaurant itself is pretty small and wish they had some kind of music playing or something. It was so quiet and made it a little awkward lol. Our favorite dish was the crispy chicken. We will definitely be back!

Ordered three entrees to-go. Food is great but the containers were not filled. Especially when already serving two scoops of rice in the entrees. The main dish is pretty skimpy especially for the price. Many other places fill it up or even skip the two scoops of rice and serve rice on the side.

I tried Okasan Teriyaki with a friend. I had the Spicy Teriyaki, and it was pleasantly spicy without being too hot.
The salad was good, and the dressing was a little different from other Teriyaki spots I’ve been to, but good. The portion size was decent, and the rice was excellent.
My friend had Chicken Teriyaki, and he said it was excellent. If I was in the area and wanted Teriyaki, I would consider coming back.

Best teriyaki and American Chinese in the Bonney lake area! The spicy chicken teriyaki is one of the best I’ve had and the sweet and sour chicken is as well when fresh ordered. The food quality is consistent and I’ve never had an issue. Someone complained in another review about being charged for sauces but I have never experienced that. I have eaten here probably at least once a month for a decade. The couple times I’ve tried other teriyaki around the Bonney lake area it hasn’t been nearly as good.

Quick service and small place, I probably wouldn’t eat in here.
The flavors of the food here was pretty typical of other teriyaki places to some degree but not as good because it lacked the grilled flavor that i find characteristic of teriyaki places as well as an overall depth of flavor.
I ordered chicken and shrimp teriyaki and also tried general tso chicken.
I ended up getting food poisoning afterwards — so I wouldn’t return again.

This is the best teriyaki restaurant in WA. I am a spicy chicken teriyaki connoisseur and have eaten at almost every teriyaki restaurant in WA and this place takes the cake. The chicken, rice and salad is always fresh and the customer service is also phenomenal. There is never any wait for your food and service is always very fast. Highly recommended!!!

I dislike when places charge you for extra sauces when you are spending $20 plus already including a tip. The general tsos chicken did not look like the picture on the menu. It was lighter & not very saucy. I always compare to other places to find the best one. It was decent but just not the taste I was hoping for. They have no soy sauce or hot sauce on the table when dining. You have to ask in order for them to charge you. I won’t be going back.

Yummy!! I’m new to eating in this area and was in search of a great teriyaki place in bonney lake. I’m spoiled and used to Tacoma’s #1 fried rice. (Not just a cleaver name!) As well saki and sushi in North Tacoma. I’ve played around at a few teriyaki places but couldn’t find that ONE, till Okasan!!! Teriyaki sauce is definatly a step above chicken, pork, beef, was delicious. Gyoza, noodles yummy! My love is a great fried rice with character. Again they nail it , with onions, spring onions, carrots, perfect amount of egg and soy sauce. I keep on coming back, quick and hot, what’s not to love? Thank you!

Absolutely, THE best food in a 100 mile radius.
Unfortunately, it’s very concerning that to this day, 4 years later, I have NEVER seen any of the staff’s faces due to the persistent mask wearing – literally never without a covering.
I’m ALL for taking precautions, but never seeing someone’s face that I’ve been doing business with for years and eating their amazing food is just a little disconcerting…
I wish them the best but please come out of the pandemic fog!
