My husband and I along with my brother and sister in law visited here tonight. We ordered the feast #2 and also the other feast with the fish. The food was amazing! Freshly cooked and so savory. I couldn’t get enough! The sauce on the chicken was delicious. The steak kabobs melt in your mouth, so tender and juicy. The jerk wings had the perfect amount of kick to them. I don’t have a single negative thing to say about our experience. The owner Flo was absolutely amazing as well. She was so kind , warm and welcoming. She answered any questions we had about the food and just made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a new place to try, you won’t be disappointed here. We’ll definitely be back for more!

The food experience here was immaculate, I mean the food was superb! I ordered the jerk chicken and my husband had the Beignet fish. The fish was definitely made with love very moist and flavorful. The chicken I’ve never had jerk chicken so crispy and tasty it was amazing. Let’s not talk about the rice AMAZING neither Ghana or Nigeria can debate about this rice it’s undefeated. I def. Need the recipe I will definitely be coming back and letting my friends know of this beautiful place. You can definitely tell it’s not only food your eating but a taste of culture and getting to acknowledge the art of the food. Not just anyone can make this but it takes an Artist to cook like this! ❤️ I’m very thankful for the experience I had medaase!

So glad I found this. The food was great, love the steak skewers. The dinner and desert was freshly prepared and made to order. Try the plantains also! Can’t wait to try the peanut chicken next time. The atmosphere, decor, and great owners make it all the more enjoyable. Will be back again for sure!

Wow! Okapi Bistro has become my new favorite restaurant. After my third time ordering pickup, I can safely say – I should literally have a standing order every Friday night! Their entrees and appetizers are delicious, so full of flavor, and cooked to perfection. It’s like coming home every time I gobble down a samoussa and beignet. Not to mention, the staff are warm and inviting and have handled all my last minute order additions (cause you’re going to want to keep adding things to your order) with grace and kindness. If you have not yet tried Okapi Bistro, you definitely need to check it out ASAP!

Wow…this place is EXCELLENT! Tried the goat stew with rice then the sautéed mushrooms and onions and they were both fantastic. Finished off with peanut and caramel beignets and they were delicious as well. I would expect a place of this quality and excellent service to be packed – if you haven’t been here yet you’re missing out!
