Okaeri Japanese Cafe has been on my list for some time. Got a chance to go there over the weekend and was impressed. Had gone there early afternoon and the place was filled. The popularity of this store is justified with the service and food. The rush wasn’t bad and was able to find seating in 5-10mins.

I came here to try Japanese souffle pancakes, and they were truly wonderful. The texture, flavor, and taste were all excellent. It’s a lovely little cafe with beautiful decor and playing delightful music. I highly recommend Okaeri.

Super cute cafe the soufflé pancakes were so light and fluffy and the sauce was the right flavor combination. The onigiri had a decent amount of filling and was pretty solid I really liked both the drinks we had and overall the decor was super cute and very fun I’ll definitely be back! I’ll

They have a variety of food that are delicious and easy to order, but the onigiri rice needs to be a little salty rice. The strawberry sandwich was not a half strawberry which was a disappointment. And some customers stay in the coffee just to hangout while others are waiting to be seated. That is not necessarily the store’s fault, but just something they can put as notice to remind customers.

It’s a really cute cafe, nice and clean. We got the pancakes and they were tasty, very fluffy and jiggly. Not too sweet which I liked. We went early morning and the wait was not bad about 20 min. and there were plenty of tables.

Very cute Japanese dessert restaurant. I love their souffle pan cakes. They have regular, matcha, and strawberry. Very light and fluffy souffle pancakes are my absolute favorite dessert. All staff are very kind too!

TLDR: fell short of my expectations, very aesthetic looking food but fell short in the taste department…

Very cute cafe but way and I mean way over priced. The pancake was overrated but it was good just not 14$ good. Now the most upsetting party? The rice balls. Just like the title, there was literally ONLY rice and a dot of meat. For 3.50$? Service was wonderful and everyone was kind and attentive but I won’t be returning due to the tiny food amount and overpriced value for it.

Light bright space. There are only a few tables so it may get tight. Food was delicious. We got a mochi donut and a strawberry soufflé pancake. Both were amazing. The pancake is light and delicate and lightly sweet. The donut was a black sesame donut which was lightly sweet but there was a thick frosting which gave it more sweetness.
