When I moved to the area back in March, I decided to give this place a try. I’ve been going back ever since. My favorite is the Karagge (nice and crispy), pork dumplings, and the katsu chicken. The sushi is great too. Haven’t had a bad thing yet! The pricing is super affordable and it has a nice chill vibe inside. You can order to go or eat there. It is small inside and we tend to go early in the dinner rush, but they turn out food very quickly, so there’s never a long wait. Definitely try them!

Great food here! My wife ordered the Chicken Yakisoba, Boba tea, and I ordered Tonkatsu with ramen noodle, and pork protein, and a order of their shumai. Broth had incredible depth of flavor, added chili oil and talk about elevation. The broth flavor really popped with the heat. Their yakisoba was flavorful and the chicken cooked perfectly. Great all around food, def the best ramen in the Hampton Roads area. Worth the drive to Williamsburg. I have found my new fa write ramen place.

Nice and casual little joint, but the tonkotsu broth with pork ramen hardly tastes like ramen at all. Shockingly sweet and bland. With carrots on top for some reason. I’ve had tastier noodles come out of a $3 bag.

We have ordered take out from Oishii for years and they have always been awesome. We order and pick up and the food is always delicious and quickly made. You can even order bakery items (with at least a weeks notice) off of their website to pick up. Absolutely lovely local, family run business.

This place is very popular among college students and rightly so. The food and prices are great. Parking was a pain and it was loud from so many people packed in and having a great time. If you want quieter and calmer this is not ideal but if you’re with friends and like they excitement and charged atmosphere then you may rate 5 stars

Didn’t try the ramen, but had some hibachi with extra vegetables. Great service and prices.

I ordered their egg tarts online and they were excellent! The texture and taste were perfect! Instantly demolished two egg tarts shortly after getting home. The baker was also really fast with responding to orders and emails.

Our family went to try Oishii on our recent weekend outting.

The food was amazing! I had a Ramen bowl with spicy tonkatsu broth and pork. The pork was juicy and had a meaty and sweet flavor.

The broth was tasty and had a great balance (not like some of the overly fatty broths I have tried at other restaurants).

The service was very courteous and fast!

The restaurant was clean and had a happy, peaceful vibe.

This was a great experience that I highly recommend for fans of Japanese cuisine!

Not authentic at all. The food has good presentation, but the ingredients are mediocre. The ramen is okay. See pictures. Only 4 ingredients, but the soup and noodles are okay. Everything else on the menu is pretty bad. Look at the pickled ginger. That is some of the oldest and driest ginger you can possibly serve. The sushi was old and moist. It’s supposed to be a little crunchy. Takoyaki was obviously from a package and not completely cooked. This place is slightly below average.
