This place is too busy to be understaffed. So the wait is long. 15+ minutes to get seated. 10+ to place drink orders, 20+ for appetizers, another 30 minutes for the meal. I was hard to get refills and one of the waitress got a tone when we asked for a missing soup and soy sauce. They had 2 waitresses doing everything and only 7-9 tables occupied. The appetizers where yummy but the actual food, each and every dish was overwhelming with ground (white??)pepper. There was pepper in everything even the salad dressing. We do want to try the hibachi and Ramen but I think we’ll wait a bit before returning.

I’ve had karaage from other restaurants and loved it but this was not good to me. It wasn’t crunchy and lacked flavor, taste like it was cooked in old oil, vut everything else in the bento box was good.

The red bean milk tea and the watermelon milk tea with boba were amazing! Also ordered the ramen and a chicken teriyaki bento box and those were very good as well. We definitely plan on returning.

Delicious food. Tried out the Salmon Don on my first visit and I was impressed. Fresh, flavorful, and filling. The owner was very kind and attentive. Hoping this place thrives; I’ll be back often!
I’m editing and adding some more pics and descriptions now that I’ve been back a few times and it just keeps getting better! I tried their pork belly tonkotsu ramen and the garlicky, rich flavor of the broth is next level. The pork belly had a slight sweetness and was so tender. This is my new favorite ramen spot! Plus, their spicy garlic edamame has blown everyone else out of the water at this point. It’s hard to beat.
Oishi is fantastic!

The Bento boxes are really great! We love spicy beef and chicken teriyaki.
Food is fresh, the flavors are amazing. We also love the sushi tacos: salmon, tuna and shrimp. The quality is very good.

Our server was nice and the atmosphere was really nice however the food… kaarage was good but not crispy but still good. We order a Miso and Tonkotsu, the spice bomb was added before it was at the table, the noodles were soggy and the Tonkotsu was not rich and lack depth. The tamago was hard boiled and there was a significant temperature difference between the ramen and the egg. The chasu was okay. Also the broth was not hot it was room temp. The teas that they offered were really tasty and not overbearing. We’ve been looking for an alternative ramen shop since JY closed its doors and unfortunately we have yet to find it.

Tried the hibachi ribeye today and was not disappointed. The plate presentation was as stunning as the meal was delicious. Thank you so much
Great meal, great atmosphere. I enjoyed the spicy tuna don, and an appetizer of onion rings(made fresh) and fried shrimp. This is quickly becoming my favorite. I’ve been eyeballing the Beef Udon dinner. Thank you so much.

Highly recommend this restaurant, I tried the sukiyaki today. I tried the Lava salmon don before. This place is really so good I had to leave this comment to get more people to see it! Sukiyaki is highly recommended! The waitresses are also very sweet and the rose sparkling water here is delicious! I literally can’t stop walking into this store to try other new things! Highly recommended!

My Review for Oishi Japanese Hibachi & Ramen
I went to Oishi with my significant other hoping for a delicious date night. We were especially excited because we’re both avid ramen eaters, and I lived in Japan for about two years, so I’ve had the opportunity to experience ramen at a very high standard. So far the best restaurant that I’ve had is that Yokai Ramen. But we like to give other places a try.
Unfortunately, the biggest issue across the entire meal was salt. The ramen was overwhelmingly salty to the point where it became more unpleasant with each bite instead of more enjoyable. The same problem carried over to the appetizer edamame—it tasted like it had been heavily coated in salt rather than seasoned with intention.
This isn’t meant to be rude or dismissive; it’s simply an honest reflection of our experience. The flavors themselves had potential, but the excessive salt completely overpowered everything else. Cutting back significantly on the salt would go a long way, because the amount used felt unnecessary and detracted from what could otherwise be a solid meal.
I really wanted to love this place because it’s way closer in distance than any other Ramen place to home, but based on this visit, the salt levels made it hard to enjoy.

The food was very delicious. We ordered the vegetable tempura. It was very crispy and flavorful. The sweet pink beverage I got was refreshing and creamy. My main dish was the teriyaki steak with soba noodles. The noodles were cooked nicely and the steak was perfectly cooked. The portions were balanced well between noodles and vegetables. The service was also pretty good. I highly recommend this place. I will come back to try out the ramen next time.
