Chicken Rama is very bland!! I Love peanut sauce and unfortunately it had no flavor! Portions are small as well. Their crab ragoons were good and that’s why I gave them 3 stars. There are only 2 tables inside, so carry out!

Three of us had a quick lunch here on a weekend. The server was nice. This is a family operation and the quality shows. The food was fresh, good ingredients and nicely presented. We ate on the deck which has a really great view of the harbor.

We tried Laan-Xang’s Laotian dishes here – the larb & Lao fish pocket. The dishes were beautifully presented, felt authentic, made with fresh ingredients and flavorful. Although we’re not shy from fish sauce, sometimes Southeast Asian food can taste strong on the fish sauce & fermentation. We felt like this place nails it perfectly to show off native flavors in an approachable way for Westerners. Love seeing a diverse offering thrive in this small community! ✨️

We stopped in for a quick snack, and we’ll DEFINITELY be back! The staff were super friendly and willing to accommodate a vegetarian/vegan diet. We tried the larb with tofu and no fish sauce, the summer roll, and a Thai sweet tea with coconut milk. I’m very excited for our next trip to Belfast so I can try more!

My first time having Sai Ghock (sausage) — amazing flavor and texture. The Lao fish pocket was also flavorful.

There is no bathroom in the restaurant, but there is a public bathroom down the hill across the street.

Didn’t quite know what I wanted, because I was having Tai food for the first time. They were patient with me and helped me find what I needed. I had the chicken fried rice with a little spice to it and it was amazing. 5 star experience!!!

Awesome Thai food right in Belfast down by the water front. We’ve eaten here a number of times over the last 3 years and it’s always delicious. This place is very busy in the summer, has limited seating both on the outdoor patio and inside. It’s a small family run business and their food is great! All homemade so if you’re looking for fast food try some place else. We had their crispy egg rolls, pad see ew with chicken and Lorb. Everything was fresh, hot and excellent. You won’t be disappointed.

I’ve had a lot of bad Thai food in Maine. I am glad we passed through Belfast. This place is good and the owners are super friendly. Would recommend Lao fish pocket.

Good food, much more interesting than Fon’s Kitchen up the hill (Thai). The issues are: No restroom, exit and walk downhill to Public Restrooms (ugh!). It can easily be too cold/foggy, or too warm/SUN! Invest in a few collapsible windbreaks and an overhead awning that fully blocks the sun, please. The restroom issue is maybe a bigger problem–if they rent, unlikely to invest in a major renovation to fit one in. The food is worth it, if weather cooperates. I would not bring visitors there, I am but willing to endure, for the food! I live too far away for takeout to be practicable. (Should consider a move–places open up regularly in Belfast!! So much going for them, they deserve better.) Did I mention the helpful and polite staff?
