As someone who is a coffee shop enthusiast, I had to stop here while on vacation. The staff here are very upbeat and friendly. I had a vanilla latte with a monkey bread muffin, and they were delicious. Beachy atmosphere with clothes and other items for sale and chairs to relax and tables to do work. Go check out this place if you are in the area.

I absolutely love this place.. yesterday I got the horchata latte and OMG it was outta this world.. I hope they never stop making it cause it’s lagit my absolute favorite… I wish I had taken a pic of what was in it lol .. the atmosphere is so chill and perfect for your morning chill spot before work or whatever ur doing… the employees are always way sweet and always smiling and to me that says so much.. idk the owner of this place but I hope u see this and please never take the horchata drink away lol… also thank you for creating a peaceful place for us all to relax and unwind

Definitely 5 stars!!!!!!!!! You have to get your coffee here!!! The employees are so sweet and the prices are so low compared to other coffee shops. A large frappe was only like $5! A large group of my friends and I all got different drinks and no one had complaints. We were all so impressed.

This place was lovely! I’ve never been to a place that was a fusion of a coffee shop and a store. The surf-related items being sold were very fun to look at and the coffee was very good! I had their Cloud Nine latte which was white chocolate mocha and toasted marshmallow. I appreciated their menu of fun flavor combinations and their atmosphere was great!

We made the trek over the bridge and off the island almost daily to visit OIB Surf and Java. It has become my favorite OIB hangout. The entire shop is so welcoming – love their merchandise selection (and spent way too much $$ in the surf shop), the coffee is great and fairly priced – lattes and frappes are priced similar to other coffee shops. The staff are wonderful – helpful and cheery with great recommendations. My kids LOVED the smoothies and wanted to go as often as I’d let them. I loved the coffee and the frappes. They have great seating and working areas for people to come in and work, talk, or just hang out. We loved the vibe of this place and if we weren’t at our house or on the beach, the rest of our group knew to find us at OIB Surf and Java.

Great, fresh coffee. AHHHMAZING homemade-in-house muffins. We’ve been making the short trek over the OIB bridge for the past few summers to get coffee and muffins here. The chill atmosphere of the surf shop and the friendliness of the staff is always so welcoming. Their prices are also fair. They’ve renovated the inside since last summer and it looks awesome! They now have a cozy sitting area with upholstered seating in a setting that makes you feel like you’re on your own little porch in the islands. Today we came to get my daughter a frappe for her birthday. They made a wonderful recommendation for the flavor and she loved it! 100% recommend OIB Surf and Java!

Friendly place. Cross conversations in the sitting area seem to be welcome. Variety of coffees and coffee drinks to choose from. Store offers jewelry, shoes, clothing, and dog toys among its many items. Great way to start your day–their sunny attitude is contagious. I love my time here.
