I have been meaning to leave this review for forever! Anyone that know Oheka knows about its prestigious reputation. I finally got to go around the holidays and the rumors did not disappoint! The decor in and out of the castle are classical and romantic. The food is so delicious with multiple options even for vegetarians. I asked the staff if they could whip me up a vegetarian pasta and they made a huge bowl of pasta just for me. I had leftovers for days! Speaking of the staff, they were the best; super attentive and accommodating. I highly recommend OHK bar and restaurant for anyone that wants a fancy dinner with nice view, good food, and great staff!

Came here for my husband’s 30th birthday dinner with a group of friends, and it was a fantastic spot for a celebration. We ordered drinks and food and the quality was consistently high. Drinks were well-made and the food was flavourful and great for sharing. The atmosphere is fun and energetic without being overwhelming, which worked perfectly for a birthday dinner. Staff handled our group really well, and service stayed smooth throughout the night. Slightly pricey depending on what you order, but overall it felt worth it for the experience and vibe.

First time! Loved the seclusion, the ambiance; quiet and welcoming. Food was superb, waitress was a 10. Gary a gem, didnt get to tour the hotel or mansion in its entirety but would love to come back and get the full view and a Oheka bag!

Classy location, amazing staff just friendly and accommodating and delightful, great food super delicious and made how we requested. The ambiance! Omg. The drinks were perfection, i was tipsy but not wasted. Not cheap but worth every penny!!! It was a GREAT early celebration thank you for dinner in a castle. Very memorable

Go for the castle gardens view and experience. Food is good. There are not that many diners, The service is not good since their bankruptcy filing, ignored us for Valentine’s Day dinner, when we had to leave and get bill.

Really happy with my experience. They were helpful and able to accommodate my food restrictions. They had our car ready for us as soon as we got downstairs, no waiting.

The positives: the drinks were well made, the service staff was polite and attentive, and the ambiance of the castle is undeniably beautiful. The bar experience was solid.

Unfortunately, the food completely missed the mark.

For a $300 Valentine’s Day three-course prix fixe menu, the quality was unacceptable. The dishes we received were dried out and had the texture and uneven heat profile consistent with food that had been microwaved or improperly reheated. As someone who cooks and understands food preparation, it was clear the meals were not freshly prepared and corners were cut.

At this price point, guests expect execution and quality. Instead, the food was the weakest part of the entire evening. While the staff attempted to accommodate us, the overall experience left us disappointed enough that we lost our appetite.

If you plan to visit, I would recommend going for drinks and the atmosphere only. Eat beforehand. The castle setting is beautiful — but the dining experience does not justify the premium price.

The castle setting is absolutely beautiful — the scenery and landscaping are truly the highlights of the experience. That said, the food was just average at best, and the service was fairly standard. Honestly, the photography service was quite disappointing, and the birthday cake was both unattractive and not tasty at all. Also, valet parking isn’t really necessary since the parking lot is right next to the venue. A lovely place for photos and atmosphere, but not one I’d return to for the food.

A great hidden gem for date night.

Gatsby (Happy) hour is super helpful with a limited bar menu, but the spaces are fanstastoc, service is good, not quite 5 star level but close, and the food is priced lower than nearby Prime, so adding in the beautiful space and ground that you can tour, id definitely recommend this as a date night option – even if just for drinks

We visited on Saturday, but there was a wedding so we couldn’t walk around the garden space. Unfortunately, the food was extremely disappointing. The Eggs Benedict looked and tasted worse than what I could make at home (looked like Dunkin Donut breakfast sandwich), and the burger was very dry. I truly felt like I wasted my money. This ended up being the worst dining experience I’ve had in the NY/NJ area in the past six years.
