Great service and best deep dish pizza I had all year. My new favorite spot, tasted so good! Real Chicago style pizza! We got delivery from them a few times and they have the best French fries!

This place is good. I even ate the pizza next day without warming it up. The crab fries were also good. It is expensive though so it’s def more of a splurge take out option

I went to an event 5/27/23 and had their pizza. I thought it was expensive but really good pizza specifically the sauce. I decided to take my husband to try the pizza (5/28) and this is where things took a downturn.

This is hands down the best pizza I ever had. I had the roc the mic . The norf sauce is sweet and spicy ️ and made the pizza taste wonderful. I also tried the no betta love which is a vegan pizza. Both pizza was excellent. I definitely will recommend this place to friends and family. This business is black owned. Support this business.

Haven’t had pizza this good in a while. They serve Detroit style pizza with a thicker, burnt crust which we really liked. We got the I’m a boss which was delicious and heavy with toppings. Pizza literally weighed around 5 lb.

We were craving Detroit pizza just as Down North was featured on the Eater channel on YouTube. The pizza looked so good that we soon found ourselves driving up Ridge avenue to give it a try! We got the Rock the Mic and Uptown Vibes pies and both were incredible. The crust was crispy on the bottom and soft & buttery on the inside, and the sauce was the perfect combination of salty and sweet. Each slice is a hefty portion since it’s Detroit style. We will be back again soon!

Expensive. Cheese fries $7.50???? It wasn’t even cheese but a mayo blend. If it wasn’t for the blessings you get for praying before eating it, i would have left the box on their property for the flies to finish. I pray i don’t feel sick after.

Was there for a job, and ordered 2 pizzas and 2 fries to go. I ate the Uptown Vibes which is a vegetarian pizza, and fries. Wow…. it was amazing how MUCH incredible flavor was packed in without it being so overwhelmed with a bunch of unnecessary veggies. The mushrooms, kale and red peppers were perfect and the red onions…I’m not sure if they were pickled or what I was tasting, but it was amaaazing… the sweet and the spicy you get overall was perfect. Toasted the fries because I ate them later, and they were delicious! Mike also gave me an ice cream sandwich on the house, ate that on my drive home…. YUM! THANK YOU! Great local business with a powerful message behind it all. Grateful I got to hear a little bit while I was there

Wow, what an amazing restaurant, with an even better staff and an even better backstory. Mike, the head chef, took our order and was very welcoming and patient. The other chefs in the back were hard at work fulfilling orders (I love to see it).

Drove to my Philadelphia to check out this place hearing what good they do for the community and being Black Owned! Read about it. First time of course and I’m glad to say I tried it. We were greeted and Mike helped us out. Very helpful and patient is always a plus for me! I ordered the “Flip Side” pizza and added chicken as well as the fresh cut fries and let me tell you $30 for a pizza is a little steep! Sheesh. I’ll be honest there were too many jalapeños and the beef bacon (was not a fan) could’ve been cooked better. The fries tasted like they were cooked in multi-used old grease which were not at all the greatest especially given they were straw fries (nope). I absolutely loved and appreciated the homemade bbq sauce and fresh made bread!! The pizza in itself- Freshly made, flavorful and overall pretty good! Definitely should think about selling the pizza by slices or smaller portions because it was a lot! Overall good people, good food and a good experience. Thank you!
