Just tried this new Korean BBQ spot in Rancho Cordova and it completely exceeded my expectations!

I honestly thought it would be similar to other KBBQ places, but the experience was on another level. You can really feel the dedication. Great customer service, staff, the owner, and chef pay attention and detail to make sure you have the best experience.

The food felt authentic, with real Korean side dishes, and the biggest highlight was the meat. It’s tenderized properly, and they even switch to a special Korean grill, which instantly brought me back to my BBQ experiences in Seoul.

The tables are spacious, ordering is easy on an iPad, food comes out quickly, and portions are generous — you’ll leave very full. We ordered Course A, and it was more than enough and absolutely worth the price. There’s also Course A+ if you want more variety.

They serve both lunch and dinner.
✨ Definitely worth trying — highly recommend! ✨

The service was excellent, and the quality of the meat was outstanding. We also ordered the soft tofu stew (Soon-du-bu), which was packed with fresh seafood, and the spicy rice cakes (Tteok-bokki) were delicious as well. I’m definitely planning to bring my whole family back here again!

Quite a tasty spread. I still haven’t decided if it’s worth the price, but it was Definitely tasty. We had to re-order one item (all you can eat, so no charge within the dinner option you choose) because it didn’t come the first time, but for the most part the service was good.

The older couple who were obviously in charge, don’t know if they were managers or owners, we’re friendly. It’s pricey, but it’s a nice place.

I don’t eat a lot, so I don’t typically do buffets and don’t usually consider it worth the price, but this was definitely the best Korean BBQ I’ve been to I’ve been to at my gf’s request.

I’m very satisfied. The quality meat, delicious side dishes, clean environment, friendly staff, and even the state-of-the-art ordering system were almost perfect. My only regret is that I couldn’t eat everything because I was too full. And one minor point of disappointment is that they charge for the cold noodles. I don’t understand why they charge for it when there’s a limit to how much a person can eat, and the price of the noodles is higher than the price of the meat? It doesn’t make sense… and the cold noodles weren’t particularly delicious compared to the meat and other dishes. Anyway, it seems to be the best restaurant in the area.

Upsides: Meat quality is good. Side dishes are good. Stove has ventilation downwards and it works great, no smoky smell that stuck to clothes/hair. Chicken wings and short ribs are tasty. Servers change the grill pan frequently.

Downside: Can only order 6 dishes every 5 or 6 minutes regardless of the party size. Was busy ordering the whole way through while grilling the food. Seasoning is limited and none of it makes the food tastes better than they are plain. Sushi is not the best tasting. No drink included even with the 40 dollars meal, need to order aside from the all you can eat.

Overall: Will not recommend if the party is bigger than 3. The lower tier deal (30 dollars without tax and service fees) is probably more worth it considering how many orders you can put into the system within given time.

Get your Korean BBQ here! I should’ve gotten more/better pics but once I started eating I couldn’t stop. Also the convenience of using a tablet to order at the table and a conveyor system bringing you the food is a great system. Went for lunch – there was no wait and service was great.

We were there for 2.5 hours and most of that time was spent waiting. As someone who doesn’t really do reviews at all, the fact I’m doing one says enough.
We ordered three meats and waited 20–30 minutes for each one to arrive. While we understand table grilling takes time, the long gaps between orders made the meal drag. We asked for water and sauces early on and never received them. We requested a refill and did not get it until the check was brought out.
We also ordered instant ramen, and it never arrived.
By the end of the meal, I was just as hungry as when I walked in, so I effectively spent $90 on nothing. We would have ordered more, but we didn’t want to sit there waiting another 20–30 minutes. We would rather cash out than continue waiting.
We came prepared to spend over $200 with a few drinks and a generous tip as usual. We just gave up on getting drinks, or anything else after not getting anything else. Instead, we spent $95 and did not leave a tip because the service simply did not earn it.
As someone who’s family owns multiple restaurants, I find it unbelievable that any owner of manager would be okay with this kind of service, not a chance we would. Very disappointed.

For the record the food itself was actually really good.

Of course knowing it was valentines, we knew it would be busy. We got lucky and was able to be seated. It wasn’t fast though. We were told we were next 3 times until we had to let them know about that. It’s okay. Small fluke. They were busy. When we sat down, there was no water but others did. Second fluke but whatever. However the big one was us waiting for our food for a long time. Now it wasn’t because it was Valentines Day. It was because they were short. We had to remind the waiter multiple times where is our food. And if we didn’t, we most likely would be sitting down waiting for it. I don’t even think the waiter and waitresses wanted to deal with it anyways because when I asked them where our food was, they never came back to let us know how or what was happening. We understand that however we waited for awhile to the point that other customers were actually getting their orders faster. Hopefully they fix that in the future. Even though there was a lot of bads, the Busser named Manuel was the star. He cleaned everything so quickly and efficiently and he looked like the only one working fast. He needs to be a waiter because I can see him not forgetting orders. Unlike the other waiters and waitresses, our orders were missing. But MANUEL would have been amazing. If only I could tip him. If you go here, make sure Manuel is there.

Horrible table service. If you want to wait a long time to get served meats, drinks, and even as simple as NAPKINS and STRAWS, be my guest. HECK! Even waiting for a refill is CRAZY. An hour wait for a refill??? Really??? Did this company have to drive all the way to their manufacturer to make the soda themselves???

I highly recommend going to Must Be Cow in Citrus Heights instead. Same price, better service, better food options, better quality, better neatness.

If I could give more than five stars, I would!

No photos unfortunately, I was very much simply enjoying my food in the moment and sparing no thoughts to my phone.

The restaurant was clean, spacious and inviting. The staff were friendly, quick and thorough. It was never difficult to get someone’s attention. Banchan was delicious and plentiful and refills of favourites came swiftly. The mains were as great – fresh and high quality meats in impressive variety.

I also really like their hot sauce, and I asked at the end if they sold bottles of it to take home. They do not, but a wonderful lady whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch brought me a container of it to take with me! I was, and still am very touched by the gesture.

My husband and I were there celebrating our second anniversary and we both walked away stuffed full and happy. We will definitely be back!
