My fiancée and I were passing through and I saw this restaurant and decided to make a quick stop. The server was extremely hospitable, and the good was delicious. I ordered the western omelette, and my fiancée ordered the ham and cheese, and both were really good. At first we were the only ones there, but by 11 three other people came in. Still wasn’t busy though.
We enjoyed our experience here.

Nostalgic country diner with fresh vegetables and adorable staff! It was like eating an old-fashioned home cooked meal at our grandparent’s house.

I stopped in after taking a nice drive through the countryside and liked the homey look of the place. Everything was homemade- yummy potato salad, apples In cinnamon, nice cheeseburger. Will definitely be back! Nice owner who told me she gets up at 4:30 am to make biscuits.

I love to find out of the way places to eat, fast food joints just all suck. My wife and I found this on a trip to attend a wedding. The food was good and the staff were extremely friendly. The other patrons were locals and also very friendly and inviting. If you find yourself in this area you could do much worse than eating here.

The food was mediocre at best. Not a very welcoming atmosphere unless you’re a local regular. Offensive and racist pictures on the wall. Had a BBQ sandwich that tasted like it was seasoned with air. Prices were good food was not. Will not go back again.

Pretty good food at a reasonable price. I had the flounder platter with baked potato. My wife had the Big O Burger with onion rings. (They use fresh ground chuck.)The potato was fresh and huge. The iced tea was strong enough without being overly sweetened.

Came for the food, stayed for the music.
We were just passing through and thought it would be a quaint little place to eat. When we walked in, we saw the band’s equipment and found out there would be live music in less than an hour. We stuck around for the music… A decent band played some old country and rock classics. There was a fair bit of dancing going on as well.
All in all, a neat little place with good atmosphere. A fun time, we might check it out again sometime.

Its pretty out of the way, but as with many of those places, the food was good and you can’t beat the prices. If you’re doing winery tours in the Yadkin Valley, stop in. It’s a mom and pop place boasting live blue grass and other music in the evening. The hush puppies are fantastic.
