The desserts were great. The menu doesn’t look like a lot but they have a wide selection. The staff was nice. Very polite. Our waitress checked on us a good amount of time and gave advice on our orders. They had live music. It was at the perfect volume. Not too loud but loud enough to hear and still enjoy your conversation. Overall a great experience

Food is great and the atmosphere is amazing! There is a pianist that is AMAZING!! It does get pretty packed at night, there may be a little bit of a wait time. But it’s worth it, trust me! The apple cobbler is not over sweet and served hot, make sure to get ice cream with it. Makes all the difference. I will be back to try that pecan pie! Don’t forget it’s a bar, so they do serve alcohol drinks too if you’re looking for a good drink with your dessert.

Been coming here for the occasional Saturday breakfast since they first opened. Food has always been amazing, and atmosphere is nice, but service has never been very good. Today was no different. My coffee was hot and delicious, but my wife’s decaf was served at room temp. Waited for a while for them to brew some more, but gave up after a while and ordered iced tea instead. My eggs were cooked perfectly, as was the bacon. Croissant was delicious and the red potatoes were amazing. Back to the service, don’t expect your coffee to be refilled regularly as I was about done eating when I finally got my refill. I won’t be too hard on our waitress bc it was very busy and we could tell she was trying hard, but just be prepared for slower service on the weekends. Despite this, I still recommend this place mainly bc of the food.

Beautiful spot in Lexington near the courthouse. Broad range of sweet and savory. Baked goods are joined by quiches, sausage gravy and scrumptious corned beef. The breakfast potatoes are crispy, the biscuits come in jalapeno and cheddar and the orange juice is fresh squeezed. All for a fair price compared to other places I’ve recently visited in town.

Stopped in for coffee and a baked sweet with some family today and was pleasantly surprised. I never heard of any of the O’Hara’s restaurants before today, but they will be our first stop when we drive into Lexington next time. The Cafe has a beautiful street view and plenty of natural light. The seating arrangements offer booths, hightop tables, and long tables. Our table ordered an iced macchiato, a hot chocolate, and a vanilla cappuccino with oat milk; the drinks were so good and had no bitterness to the coffees at all. We also ordered a slice of peppermint cheesecake, a raspberry cheesecake croissant, a yoyo chocolate chip cookie, a slice of oreo cheesecake, and a slice of banana pudding cake. I cannot stress this enough: all of it was fresh, delicious, and perfectly sweet! The server was so kind and really went above and beyond to ensure that a peanut allergy at our table was addressed and our concerns were put at ease. O’Hara’s Bakery Cafe is the perfect place for a great cup of coffee and a sweet bite!

O’Hara’s Bakery Cafe is in a cool building on historic main street in Lexington. The dirty chai was good. The raspberry almond cupcake was about grocery store quality. Unfortunately the restaurant wasn’t serving food on the day I visited.
