It was absolutely delicious! My family & I love coming to Newport for the beach and wanted to try this out. The service was very nice and the owners were super sweet, it wasn’t too packed, we were one of the only ones there that night besides a couple others. The sushi was very fresh and delicious!! This spot is not exactly full service an not exactly fast food. Its somewhere in between.
You sit down and they give you a menu. You fill out your order and need to go inside to pay first then sit back back down. Water is self service.
There is a food runner, who brings out your food but that’s about the extent of the service.
We ordered two Poke Bowls (pictured) the total was $42 including a 15% tip.
The order wasn’t made exactly correct as they forgot one of the toppings, but no big deal. I just had to go inside and ask to get it on the side. Overall it’s just inconvenient to be running around getting everything yourself while paying full service sushi prices. Food was a 3.5, service 2.5, overall a solid 3.0 value.

The ramen was pretty good, but the sushi was great. But OH MY HEAVENS it should be imperative that you order the brussel sprouts. They were absolutely amazing. Epic. It’s possible the kitchen has a direct line to manna from heaven and they package them in a styrofoam container.

Great sushi, well made. I went in with a group of four people and the Chef/owner was wonderful and took really good care of us. No problem getting gf options, just watch out for the ramen broth, they did have gf soya sauce.

It was OK. Salmon is not wild despite being on the ocean. Texture of maki was odd, not wrapped tight and very thin. very small rolls for the price you pay. Tasted a little bland also. If you want to dine in, you need to show at least 1.5hrs before they close also..
