We are suckers for good Mediterranean food. So, naturally when we this Mediterranean sandwich shop we had to give it a try. We tried a variety of gyros and everything was delicious. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was well maintained.

The wait time is way too long!! Waiting over 40 minutes for a gyro is frustrating and not reasonable, especially if you’re in a hurry. If they can fix the speed of service, this place would be great. As it stands, come only if you have plenty of time.

My daughter and I dined here after Church. She wanted to try and I was like let’s go. I got the Southern Comfort Bowl. It has rotisserie chicken, grilled veggies, and Basmati Rice. Then the kicker to put it over the top. It had Smoked Conecuh Sausage and White Sauce. A bunch of happy flavors fused together. I kept telling my daughter that I should have gotten one to go to bring back to Huntsville. I can’t wait to be back. The staff was awesome, food was hot and fresh, and add the college atmosphere on The Strip.

The big one with the bull ring was very rude upon my arrival. Other than two times I’ve ALWAYS ordered online and pick up from here and I think I’ve only ever had one employee not be rude or antisocial toward me. This one today hardly even spoke to me and was very unwelcoming, only thing she said (in response to “hi I have a pickup order”) “For?” And just gave the bag to me saying nothing else. Very rude. I think it’s silly to be so rude when i literally just ordered food for pickup no special requests or anything. The food is great and the owners seem to be great to my knowledge but the employees always suck, but the food is good

The food is great and the menu has a little something for everyone without feeling bloated or lacking direction. I’m only giving four stars because while I love this place, the prices really are a little too steep. 15 dollars for a burger or 14 for a patty melt really skins my wallet. The food is undeniably great though and definitely something you start craving once you’ve had it.

I believe in giving credit when credit is due. The food was great! My husband isn’t a fan of Mediterranean food but enjoy his Chicken Philly. I had the Redneck Gyro. The food was fresh and the proportions were good for the money. I’d say the owners could be a little more friendly because 1st impressions are important, maybe it was just a down day for them. Thank God I loved the food because that’s why I was there.. we’ll be back! A note for the owners: smiling and connecting with your guests will ensure their return.. you should try it! Loved the food!! Smile and be happy.. Tuscaloosa needs good places to enjoy in the hustle of the college town.

I absolutely love the redneck gyro as I’m a sucker for Conecuh sausage. Made fresh and their fries are great. I also love their orzo as a side but it’s but heave for me when it’s 98 degrees outside. The hummus is solid. Not the best I’ve ever had but a good app I never regret ordering. Counter service restaurant. Was a bit difficult to find a clean open table. Otherwise great experience.

Number 1. If you’re going to be a Mediterranean restaurant then make humid dip actually taste great. All I can taste is red onions and zero chick peas.
#2 and MOST IMPORTANTLY if someone orders from uber eats or wherever, doesn’t matter and says leave off certain items like onions or tomatoes and says they are very allergic, might want to read the notes on the order. I had to throw away an entire gyro because I specifically said I was allergic to onions but no one read that and it came saturates with it to my house because you guys also don’t give an option on to-go’s to leave certain items out.

The staff here is so kind, and the food was amazing! We had the Buffalo Chicken Wrap and both the plain and loaded French fries . Delicious!!

We went when school was out for the summer so the place was not packed. The Redneck Gyro was great, could have used a little more meat but delicious! The fried were perfect and the staff was friendly.
