We were on our way to the Blue Diamond location but ended up at this location instead. Nice and clean restaurant. Parking was a bit tight but glad we found a spot.

Food:
Crispy Gau Gee
Half and Half Combo

The Crispy gau gee came with 6 HUGE pieces. Be careful when you bite into it since it’s HOT. My selection of meat for the combo- Kalbi and Teri Beef. The Kalbi is too thick. It makes it hard to chew. The marinade is good. The Teri Beef was ok and the Mac salad was ono.

Overall, great spot and next time I’ll order the Crispy Noodle with Gau Gee.

Came in here after the gym sesh and staff was very friendly and place is very clean! Food was perfectly cooked and the rice was spot on, not crunchy and grainy like some restaurants how they can’t seem to cook rice properly.. this place cooked everything properly! Definitely be coming back

New experience here. Not only my first time dining here, but the first time ever having valuable pig in water. I did clarify with the counter people and was told this is how it is served. Took it home thinking I would cook it in the pan to get the water out, but the pork was still mushy. The container it’s served in didn’t have separation so the rice and salad was soaked too. The pork gyoza I had was okay so I didn’t starve. Lol

This is hands-down the best Hawaiian restaurant around. From the moment you walk in, the warm island vibes and friendly service make you feel like you’re in Hawaii. The food is fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. I love their General Tso and Fried rice!!!!

Not for me. Fish and shrimp were beat thin and over breaded. All I could taste panko and deep fried oil. Rice was so dry even after putting too much soy sauce and teriyaki on it. $20 id rather spend towards sushi.

Inconsistent.

First time we tried this place, it was amazing. Got the usual chicken katsu curry, tasted great, portion size was great too. Really started to like this place so I decided to go back again yesterday.

Got a plate yesterday and one of the orders had undercooked chicken. It was hard and I could barely pierce it with a fork. It was so undercooked that it felts like I received a plate of cooked and hardened Jello. Still looked pink. Had to throw most of the chicken away due to this. Chefs need to be trained better because this poses a serious health hazard.

Got some takeout for dinner and didn’t expect the standout dish to be from the Chinese menu instead of the Hawaiian bbq, etc.

The Kalua pork was just ok, nothing unexpected with Portuguese sausage and eggs, the chicken katsu curry was crispy and came in a sizable portion for the regular order, but the Chow Fun (dry) wide rice noodles had excellent flavor!

If we went back, I’d definitely get that again!

There are 2 tables for eating outside too.

Fresh, hot orange chicken with fluffy white rice was tasty. Thai tea was pretty good as well as the cleanliness of the location. Will definitely be back to try more items!

First time going to this establishment and it was a very wonderful experience, the staff are very kind and helpful. The food is amazing, and portions are big. Im from Cali, and the portion size here is probably twice that of the plate combo that I would get at any Hawaiian BBQ place in Cali for the same price. Prices are good . This is my new favorite place, and my family and I will be going back frequently. 5 + stars from me

I used to always go to L&L for my chicken katsu curry, but this place is far superior! Huge portions for way less price. Amazing hidden gem. I’ve ordered from here 3 times in the last week.

Edit: I always order on ubereats, and despite there not being an option for extra curry I asked for extra curry if it was free, and said it it cost money, there’s no need to give me any. They gave me extra even though it cost extra (I didn’t know). I love this establishment and will always order from here for my Hawaiian food needs

Edit 2, 2023-12-1:
Decided to try their wings. Oh my god. Best salt and pepper wings I’ve ever had in my life.
