Our town is so fortunate to enjoy the treats, talents, and service of those who own and run this family bakery. Not only is absolutely everything we have ever had from OMG true to its namesake, (OMG, SO yummy), the family working in the bakery could not be more accommodating, and service oriented.
A few days ago, I placed a special order of just a few each of several different yummy items. They did not ask for a minimum number of any one item and happily accommodated absolutely every one of them.
Also! They have an impressive variety of gluten free items as well. Our GF daughter has loved every one that she has tried!
Highly recommend!

So happy that I discovered this shop! I was trying to find somewhere I could buy sourdough loaves regularly and this place has exceeded my expectations! The varieties are so great and the flavor is amazing. I have yet to try anything else, but this alone has won me over. So I definitely will buy more from the menu.

I was next store picking up lunch at the pizza place and my food wasn’t ready so I stopped here! And OMG pastries is the perfect name for this place! I was looking around and I saw nut cups and that was it for me my new go to pastry bakery! The ladies behind the counter are awsome and so helpful!

I’ve been searching for a bakery that makes things with clean ingredients, not a litany of 25 ingredients or more for a loaf of bread. I was thrilled to find out that her garlic sourdough bread contained only four ingredients: Flour, salt, water, garlic. It’s delicious and chewy and better than any thing else you can find in Northwest Indiana. I’ve also enjoyed her croissants, brownies, and her gingerbread house kit that I made with my granddaughter. Love supporting this amazing female owned business

Stopped by today to pick up dessert for a friend’s birthday. The fruit tarts and lemon tarts were delicious. I also bought the curried beef hand pie which was aaamazing. A wonderful little bakery. Thank you!!

Juanita is truly a master of her craft!! And I can’t recommend OMG enough. She baked my baby shower cake over 20 years ago and was devastated when she took a hiatus, but baby it is so GOOD to see this place and enjoy every single item I purchase every single time!! I don’t have a favorite item but I do order a tart at every visit. Their sourdough bread is baked to perfection and is the base of an awesome grilled cheese!!

GLUTEN FREE GOODIES AT GREAT PRICES!!! Ok, I don’t know how I’m just discovering this amazing little neighborhood bakery! Right down the street in Munster, Indiana! All the bakery goods looked scrumptious (as pictured) and included several varieties of homemade gelato! Husband and I were not too interested in the gfree options today (lemon bar or apple oat bar), but are really excited to come back when there are gluten-free caramel brownies and or cookies in stock! Owner was incredibly friendly and informative. Let us know that gfree cakes and BREADS could be made to order! She will also try and recreate any bakery good you would like (say, your grandmother’s famous custard pie, or something random you saw on Pinterest). Anyway, got a gluten-full brownie pop for daughter and a couple fruit tarts for grands— all were big hits! And the total for these 3 items was only 12 bucks, which was extremely reasonable!!! I’ve paid far more for much less! Can’t wait to head back for more!!! Wonderful spot!

First time here. Spent 26.00 not too impressed. The donuts were more than day old. Not edible. Cheese cake slice was ok. It was pretty dirty behind counter. Garbage overflowing in cans. Powder sugar container was filthy. Place smelled funky not like a bakery. Thought I found a new bakery but NOT! Also noted not friendly attitudes. Won’t be back!

I’ve had the eclairs and the lemon tarts several times and they are delish. Bought the bacon- cheese quiche for the 1st time yesterday and I’ll definitely get it again. The ladies are super nice there as well.

They did an amazing job on my mom’s 75th birthday cake I mean amazing great tasting, looking just a Great job. I will be going back, I also brought a few puppy treats for my Neighbors pet dog she loved them
