Absolutely excellent. The burger was one of the best I’ve had anywhere: juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked just right. The house kabob plate was incredible too—tender, flavorful, and clearly made fresh. You can tell they actually care about what they’re serving. Portions were generous, and everything came out hot and well-presented. Easily one of Rockville’s best spots for lunch and dinner. Highly recommend.

If you’re looking for authentic, delicious Mediterranean in Rockville, Oh Mama Grill is the place to go. From the moment you walk in, you notice how clean and well-kept the restaurant is. The staff is incredibly quick and efficient, so you aren’t waiting long for your meal. Most importantly, the food is fresh and flavorful. Great for the community to have such a high-quality option that is Kosher-certified by the Vaad of Greater Washington. A local gem!”

Rockville has a lot of Middle Eastern spots but this is the best place I’ve found locally for falafel. It’s served Israeli style in a pocket pita with a lot of salad options to stuff it with. You won’t go hungry. Service is just OK.

Instead of oh mama should be Oy mama- chicken schnitzel was so thin and horrible it fried curled into itself and I needed to gnaw it with my teeth ( couldn’t even pick
Up with fork) salads ok and shawarma portion ridiculously small- the pita stuffed with salads and the meat was like a garnish on top bathrooms super clean and the madhgicha was lovely.

Reminds me of those little restaurants in the Middle East where the best food can be found.
Some of the best Middle Eastern sandwiches and street food and my go to place when I crave a good shawarma or falafel.
Also try the black beer (a version of Kvass) they have

This is our favorite place to eat when we are in the Rockville area. No nonsense – delicious food, good service, lively owner! Quick, ,easy and satisfying. The owner gives us fresh falafel to try as soon as it’s cooked. The Shawarma, different salads and fresh pita are a must!

May 2025 Update:
The updated interior is nice!
One of the better falafel places in the area, mostly based on the selection of toppings and add-ons.
Lots of stuff like Max’s used to have that others don’t, the extra pickled vegetables, multiple cabbages, etc…

I’ve eaten falafel & shawarma all over the DC area and country. This place in Rockville Maryland holds its own. I would be happy to eat lunch here weekly. Very kind staff too!
