This review is for the Pho. Broth on the salty side. Not enough cilantro and onion. The sides just came with one slice of jalapeno, small basil, and a handful of sprouts.
The person behind the counter neglected to give me my sticky mango rice until I have to ask for it at the end.
The basil spring roll was decent.

I’m happy to have discovered an authentic Vietnamese restaurant! I’m Vietnamese myself and felt assured that this place would be good after I saw that the cashier and chef were Vietnamese as well. After several days of visiting Utah I had a hankering for Vietnamese food. I’m one of those Asians that travels and has to find Asian food to eat after 3 days of non-Asian food. I tried the garlic ribeye banh mi, dac biet pho (had flank steak and meatballs), Thai tea, mango coconut che (Vietnamese pudding) and an orange soda. The pho was accompanied by fresh bean sprouts, Thai basil and jalapeño. The bowls were generous and my picky toddlers ate it up! The meat in the sandwich was tender and my picky 2 year old son (who always rejects meat) ate it! The bread was toasty without being hard or overly flaky. It wasn’t too thick or doughy either. The acidity from the pickled vegetables added a nice contrast to the sweeter garlicky meat. The sandwich was nicely cut in diagonal pieces making a great cross section! The Thai tea was sweet and tasty. The interior was open and casual where you order at the counter, get a number and then take a seat. The interior had ceiling fans that kept the space cool and fun baskets and plants on the ceiling. My husband said the mango coconut che was the best che he’s had. I didn’t get a chance to try their bun bo hue because I was too full but it was part of their specials menu. I think they have a private parking lot in the back but there’s also street parking in the front. It looks like Guy Fieri has visited here and liked their banh mi thit! They have several other locations in Utah too.

I love this place! My wife thinks the bread here is better than the bread at the 3500 South location. I don’t know about that. I like both locations, and I’m always satisfied with the food, plus I like the atmosphere of this quirky place a lot. It makes me feel like I’m overseas or something.
A recommendation: If you are a vegetarian, I recommend the jack-fruit sandwich over the tofu. Unless you’re a big tofu fan. I find it a bit soggy and textureless, as opposed to the jackfruit, which is much more of a pleasure to eat and which gives greater satisfaction.

I stopped by to get some Vietnamese food. The place inside looks really nice, with great customer service. I do have to say that their broth tasted watered down, but it was still good. I have to say that their bahmi are really good. The bread and the combination of the ingredients make it delicious.

I used to love this place, it was good food at a good price. I went this week and it was so overpriced! My Bahn mi was $16 and a bowl of pho $17!!! With a drink and a side you’ll easily spend $30 pp and this is counter service in a sparse place that is kind of clean, food is decent, but not worth the price.

Quiet and clean restaurant. Staff was friendly and gave great recommendations. I had the P6, a pork roll appetizer and a kombucha. The broth is too die for and will be returning soon!

My husband and I have been ordering from OH MAI from what it seems like forever, and one thing I can always count is: consistency! Every single visit is such a great experience.
I’m usually not a huge sandwich person, but I love coming here because they do such a great job with their sandwiches. My top sandwich is the number 3 curry chicken. I love how all the all the veggies are perfectly placed and you get enough with each bite!
Staff is always so nice to us after all these years!

Great Bahn Mi sandos and excellent Pho. Flavorful ingredients, tender meat and awesome vegan or vegetarian options. We like the Ribeye and Short Rib Bahn Mi variants- the bulgogi jackfruit is also fantastic. Great spot to call ahead for pickup- inside dining works fine, space is clean but not insta worthy.

I love the ambience, the smells, and the decor as soon as I entered the restaurant for the first time today. I noticed that some menu items have been awarded. I tried the pho and a garlic ribeye bạnh mi. I ordered a sweet iced tea. Everything was great- some of the very best Vietnamese food I’ve had which is saying a lot coming from a Californian who grew up in Orange County CA. I will definitely come back here as often as I can.

The chicken in my bánh mì was so gross—it smelled fishy and tasted like it had been cooked and reheated several times. Definitely not worth trying. On top of that, they charged a credit card fee without mentioning it.
