Such good food! The snapper is so good. The rice and peas are excellent…. We ate are here twice:). Large portions , Great value:). The conch fritters are excellent as well. Good sky juice.
Say hello to Patrick ( the gentleman outside) if your at Fish Fry… he should be the ambassador to Fish Fry. An amazing person, so personable, friendly, heldul… he even helped people park! Just a GREAT guy! Thank you Patrick for making the meals so much better!!

My daddy took us here! Such a great spot. They give you HUGE portions!! You get more than your money’s worth here. The key is to dine in because you get waaaayyyyy more vs doing takeout. This food is seasoned to Bahamian perfection and is how true Bahamian cuisine is SUPPOSED to taste like. But I will say that my daddy (Bahamian through and through) did not like the conch fritters. He said that they were stingy with the conch and had too much batter.
Anyways, all of my food was seasoned to Bahamian perfection. This spot accepts cash or PayPal ONLY. I enjoyed my experience here and plan on returning next time I’m in Nassau.

American tourist here telling you that you won’t be disappointed coming here. The food is excellent and the portions are outrageous. You can probably get anything on the menu and it’ll be the best thing you’ve had in the Bahamas. I got the fried snapper and I would order it again in a heartbeat.

Title: My Experience: Food Poisoning and Poor Seafood Quality ($70)
I am writing this to share my personal experience. My husband and I spent $70 here for one Fried Red Snapper, one Cracked Conch (entree), one Sunset Juice, and one Soda. The total bill already included a mandatory tax and tip, although there was no service provided other than the food being dropped off.
While the sides (fried plantains and coleslaw) were okay, the main dishes were disappointing. My husband’s Fried Red Snapper tasted acceptable, but the fish was quite tough and hard.
The biggest issue was the Cracked Conch. I have a very sensitive stomach when it comes to seafood that isn’t fresh, and unfortunately, this dish confirmed my fears. The fried conch was soggy and tasteless, and shortly after eating it, I became severely ill with intense stomach pain and ended up vomiting everything.
For the $70 we paid, I expected fresh and safe seafood, but this meal unfortunately ruined my day. I wanted to share my experience so others are aware of the food quality here.

Gives a ton of food! I had the fried chicken breast with peas and rice, macaroni and sweet plantains. The fried chicken was a 10/10. Peas and rice was a solid 7.5/10z the macaroni was a 8/10 and I’m not a fan of sweet plantains so my rating on that wouldn’t be fair.y Fiancé had the shrimp and steak. She only got 4 shrimp and a decent sized steak, the shrimp was good but the steak was rubbery and she wasn’t asked how she wanted it cooked. When we went in the door was held open for us so we didn’t see the sign on the door that said no credit cards/cash only. We didn’t not have any cash on us and ordered then found out in the middle of our meal it was cash only. I wish they had something inside that mentioned this so we were aware before sitting down. Apparently there’s a PayPal option so we will try that.

Before walking in , Vondra asked did we need a table for two. She was very friendly and straight to the point. Me and my husband absolutely enjoyed everything . We had Conch which is fried snail , I would have never tried this but it was so damn good lol. We also had grilled snapper with Mac and cheese and potato salad as well as lobster , shrimp , rice and peas and coleslaw. Everything was excellent. We enjoyed our time eating there .

I rarely post restaurant reviews, but this one was needed. Visited this restaurant on Saturday, 1/10/26. My wife and I were seated outside at 6:50pm. We ordered food and drinks within 5 minutes of arriving. Our drinks did not arrive until 7:12pm.
Our food arrived separately – my wife got her food at 7:50pm, and I did not get my food until 8:10pm. Ridiculous wait time. For reference, another couple arrived a few minutes after we did and ordered a few minutes after us. They got their drinks served before us, got their food before us, and finished eating before my food was even served.
I had the steak & pasta. The pasta was good, the steak was not (chewy and very fatty). I also found a nice, black hair in my pasta, which was the cherry on top of a disappointing experience.
There are plenty of better options in the Fish Fry district than this place.
